I like TWill and I think he is good receiver biggest issue is his inconsistent use of his hands when catching. Even if he had an avg catching radius he could be very good receiver maybe even good enough teams would think he could be #1 when he hits FA.

I agree, but even though he has inconsistent hand use, he catches the ball consistently. There is a time and place for both ways but he seems to fall back on his body catches way too often..

It's not that different than how Irvin caught the ball. Irvin said that some WRs try too hard to make everything a "hands only" catch. He said that Miles Austin had issues because he needed to sometimes "body catch" but wouldn't do it.

I know that you need to body catch especially slants, comebacks and such but when you are deep the larger your catch radius is the bigger the window and less"open" you need to be. If your tendency is to let it get into your body or you are not confident in your hands enough a deep play will most likely will not come to you.

Seriously....

Unless he looks like Austin when he broke out, or LR. Good riddance

Im with you there. This guy isnt a good Terry Glenn. And the Cowboys had a good Terry Glenn and still enamored with a average 2nd. Shows you how steeped in average we been and the fans just accepting that.

This is a very good point.

I like the fact that he can take a 5 yard pass and run it 60 yards to the house for the score, probably gonna need a lot of that this year...

The thing about his hands is he's always caught like that. High school, collier, and NFL. When he was drafted we all talked about it here. It's never been a huge problem. I can't remember him dropping many passes. His only problems have been that he disappears. After the interview last week. We all know we weren't wrong in thinking that. If he can change those things, he will be a great number 2, for a while. I don't think he has the X factor (no pun intended) to be a number one, anywhere.
