CJ is miles ahead of everyone. It's like me saying James Harden is better than Jordan when he was playing. Harden is great, but come on.

CJ is the Jordan of WR's right now. So yes it is Homer talk.

No Calvin use to be the best in the league. He has dropped off the last year or two, injuries or not. Dez scores more TDs then anybody. That's what wins games. Dez is better right now then Calvin. ......that's not homer talk either

I agree with your general line of reasoning of Theogt, however, we are only left to speculate how playing for those terrible teams (including the 0-16 team) in Johnson's early years, while catching passes from NFL luminaries like Dan Orvlosky, Daunte Culpepper (who was a shell of his Vikings days), Drew Stanton, and Shaun Hill, affected his numbers.

Dez had Brad Johnson, Kitna, Weeden, Orton throwing passes. Plus Dez has targets taken from guys like Witten, R. Williams, Austin, Williams, Beasley. I remember 1 game Dez had 3 targets with 2 catches almost 80 yards and 2 TDs

I'm sure it's possible to construct various arguments as to why Calvin Johnson hasn't been as productive as Dez Bryant, but the fact remains that Dez has been better at, you know, actually catching the ball, gaining yardage and scoring touchdowns.

Stats aside everyone outside of most cowboy fans, know there are things CJ can do that Dez can't.

When healthy Calvin is virtually unstoppable. Every now and then you can get away with leaving 1 guy on Dez. On Calvin? **** no.

End of the day, you are going to believe what you want, and so will I.

All I know is, if we went to an all sports forum, and made this topic, I'd have more agree with me.

Dez is in the top ten as it stands right now.

I agree DEZ is one of the top ten players in the NFL. The best part is I think he can get even better !
