Anthropologist have visited the island and tribe (per the article) so not sure why there would think there is no evidence or proof.

Proof as in bones. 60,000 year old bones. Someone who has an article stating this, please post.

Never said bones...not sure why bones is the be all end all of proof or evidence. There are other ways to date things besides just bones.

It took Indian anthropologists 24 years to befriend the islanders with gifts of coconut and iron chunks. But now that they have succeeded, Mr Pandit and his team are hesitant about how - or whether - these tribesmen should be 'civilised'.

I would think that anthropologist that have worked 24 years in learning about these people would probably have a good idea of their age...whether it mentioned bones or other evidence.

I would actually watch the reality show Survivor if they put the contestants on this island

No. 16 ISIS guys start at the top and have to circle the island fully 4 times to win.
Sort of like an offshoot of Hunger Games - but a true Suvivor show.

Watched the video. Pretty sure the guy talking was the same dude who answered my call to Time Warner Cable last week.
