The Judge assigned to this whole travesty has ordered the parties to tone down the rhetoric and also ordered them to "pursue a mutually acceptable resolution to this case."

Who knows.... maybe we will see some sort of compromise. If the NFL maintains their hardline stance, they may have a hard time arguing in court that they negotiated and acted in good faith.

Anything short of an admission from Brady won't likely render an agreement.

I think the league has a LOT more on Brady than what we know. They're trying to give the poster boy a way out, and he won't take it.

Regardless of guilt, the NFL (and the Pats too) undermined a lot of things in this process.

I don't buy that. If they had a "LOT" more, they would have released it, instead of going with the lame "more probable than not" he was "generally aware" nonsense.

The league has been lying to the public since day 1 of this whole idiotic affair. If they had something more, why would they hold it back?

Do you post wearing one of these?

Is there any way the moderators can create 1 thread for intelligent discussion on this topic and then a separate thread for all the personal attacks and ridiculous amounts of memes some people feel they have to bring in to every single thread?

Every thread on this subject gets blown up into silly little childish oversized memes. I have taken the high road and ignored them, but it interferes with people who actually want to discuss the merits of this case.

If endless amount of memes are permissible, then maybe I should respond with a few of my own. I doubt anyone in here feels that would contribute to a healthy discussion of the relevant issues.

Don't start a thread with "this whole tragedy" without saying what you're talking about. It's pathetic enough that we all know what you're talking about because you've hijacked a respected Cowboys site with Patriots propaganda.

Tom Brady cowardly destroying his cellphone instead of simply telling the commissioner he wasn't handing over ****. That's a discussion point.

Discuss.

thanks for proving you have no business weighing in on legal discussions

They didn't mention the destroyed phone until now. It happened months ago.

You actually believe Brady regarding his destruction of the phone? Do you still have Patriots sheets on your bed?
