Don't start a thread with "this whole tragedy" without saying what you're talking about. It's pathetic enough that we all know what you're talking about because you've hijacked a respected Cowboys site with Patriots propaganda.
At the risk of sounding like Michael Corleone, I tried to walk away from this whole discussion but several others in here won't let me. They literally follow me around from thread to thread and hijack every single thread I participate in into a discussion of the Patriots.

Why don't you direct some of your indignation at them?

You are ALWAYS the victim! ALWAYS!

It's so funny. NOBODY on this darn board would even know you liked the Pats if you hadn't started your crap months ago.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

You're one of those most guilty of not letting me walk away from this whole thing when I tried to. You follow me around like a little lapdog to this day.

Why don't you direct your indignation at Tom Brady and Bill Belichick? Roger Goodell didn't commit their cheating for them.

You keep trying to make this Patriot-centric moral equivalency argument between Brady and Hardy. As if Corey Dillon, LaGarrette Blount, Randy Moss, Aaron Hernandez, and whoever else strolled through there without a blemish.

This public condemnation of Roger Goodell is laughable. He's not the cheater, the woman beater, the PED supplier, or the drug abuser in any of these offenses. He's left to govern the cheats and thugs of the NFL. He's had issues in that regard, but he's still not the guilty party.

If you don't cheat the game or break the law, you don't ever even have to meet the guy. It's disgusting how fans want to thrust the ills of society on Goodell, instead of looking at the guilty parties themselves.

America, these days, wants to blame all their own failures and flaws on somebody else. Usually old, rich men. Looking in the mirror and dealing with the reality they see.....nope, people just aren't willing to do that anymore.

Tom Brady cowardly destroying his cellphone instead of simply telling the commissioner he wasn't handing over ****. That's a discussion point.

Discuss.

Fwiw
He claims they did tell the commish that he had all he was going to get.
Then, a month or two later, he got a new iPhone 6

It's not like he smashed up his phone.

The problem for hi is that they wanted 100% and he gave them only what he thought was relevant...according g to him, of course.

Who knows,he may have had stuff on there possibly damaging to his marriage...we don't know.

The NFL didn't like not getting everything, we do know that.

We are not talking about any of those players. If we were, you wouldn't hear me speak a single word in defense of any of them.

The truthfulness of Brady's comments is debatable. Brady would have gained respect from me if he had told the commissioner to stick his cellphone where the sun doesn't shine. It's his property even though it would have made matters a lot simplier for him and the Patriots by releasing it to Goodell.

Brady cheated the game. He got caught. If he doesn't want to man up and apologize, he just needs to serve the four games and move on. Football will go on.

He's just hurting himself in all this. It's what he'll be remembered for, and that's silly. But it's all of his doing. Had he just laughed it off early on said "My bad", it'd be over. But he's claiming he didn't eat the cookies while he's got chocolate chips all over his face.

That's so right. I'm more angry at his arrogance and the Patriots arrogance more than what actually happened. They got caught. Admit it and move on. Instead they drag all of us through this circus. And I say all of us because we're forced to watch this charade because everyone knows the media is going to be all over it. Meanwhile training camp is opening. A new football season is getting ready to start and all anyone can talk about is this. I blame Brady. He should accept his medicine. All he's accomplished is ruining his reputation more than it was. Someone needs to tell him to just shut up. Sit the 4 games and then don't do it again. Nobody but demented Pats fans believe his excuses.

What I wish is that the NFL put in a rule to cover this.
Cheating during the game, and I'm not saying a delay of game or personal foul like penalty, Player(s) suspended and they count against the CAP.
Plus CAP penalty against the team for next year.
Plus draft pick loss.

I sure do.

My, how things change.

YR

Thats when he thot his paying the fine would get Tom Cry Brady exonerated. He said it himself. What an idiot.

The Judge assigned to this whole travesty has ordered the parties to tone down the rhetoric and also ordered them to "pursue a mutually acceptable resolution to this case."

Who knows.... maybe we will see some sort of compromise. If the NFL maintains their hardline stance, they may have a hard time arguing in court that they negotiated and acted in good faith.

Any reduction is a loss by the nfl.
Goodell has take the I don't want to lose stance.

The judge is wrong here. Friend of yours?
