His 2 deep balls looked like garbage. Both should have been picked, one got picked. The other one he was lucky the receiver came back and went up and got it in front of the CB. Other than that he didn't do much. Zero pass rush, bad coverage, no drops by the receivers, any QB is going to connect those short passes. All that against the Falcons. What's worse than the Falcons defense? Their backups. Anyway, he's not a starting QB, he's no better than Ryan Mallett.

I'd dump Weeden if I had to make a decision now. But we don't so we continue to evaluate the QBs here. Right now I wouldn't release Vaughn or Showers. So we don't need another QB unless they want to bring in a more seasoned QB to backup Romo. I don't see that happening now.

I have a friend who is a diehard Texans fan, like as diehard as we are for the Cowboys, and he was telling me yesterday that Mallet had been looking real good in training camp
