I wanted Mettenberger in the draft when everyone else was all over Aaron Murray. Would love to have him here. Prototypical size and arm.

When he fell as far as he did it really seemed like a no-brainer to take him.

Because they drafted him in the 6th last year and now may be able to get a 4th for him. Its not a bad return on an investment for a rebuilding team

Garrett has had a blind spot about QBs his whole coaching career

He is the one who brought Brad Johnson here when he was beyond done
