I don't think Bryce Butler goes this early, and while it's tempting to give Michael a shot, I think we're much better served using an 8th D-lineman against Philly.

Other than that, I have Collins starting at LG and Leary resting.

too many dt's and lb's for my taste. I'd give Michael and Brice a shot.

I say why not activate Michaels, think we depend more on our running game, if they stack the box we got the weapons to go over the top.

They will need the extra DLine for the hurry up. The extra LB's are for ST's.

Butler ran the practice squad all week from reports so he's out. I am dieing to see CMike however!

H-m-m, interesting how Collins is in there ahead of Bernie. Kinda wonder what the staff is actually planning, since both were seen practicing with the 1st unit this week.

Don't think Collins is starting
He's not the backup, Bernie is
But he will be active till Leary is back and hopefully he can get a few snaps while Leary is out just to get his feet wet

Collins can only play LG at this point. Bern will be needed to backup the entire interior is my thinking.

Collins is likely also better than Bern.

actually he is. while I think they'll go with who has the best week of practice, they have said Collins is the back-up LG (he played on the left side in college) and Bern is the back-up C/RG

Is the extra DL going to really help for this game? There won't be any time for substitutions often.

Bernie's the backup because he can play multiple positions. LC is the higher ranking pure OG. LC will get the start, with Bernie resuming his OG/C backup role.

I like that but give Brice a shot and sit Lucky

32 out of 32 NFL coaches would disagree

Let me rephrase that.......It is just pointless to activate a guy who very rarely contributes to special teams. Heath and McCray are not Bates and Gant. They would not even be missed.
