Vince Mayle promoted from PS

If this guy makes a difference I will really be surprised, as to being a mini Dez color me skeptical. Like some have noted he is as slow as Escobar and does not have his hands.
We soon need a big thread on Escobar even I have run out of excuses...

If you go by 40 times so was Terrell Owens.

He is not slow.

As a 4th round pick he may be a bust but as a UFA he could be a sleeper.

I know the guys at Rotoworld hate him. I have never read more negative write ups.

I would assume he's active since it's being reported he been promoted FROM the PS. I'd really like to seem get a play or two.

Remember all the people calling for Dunbar to be cut in the off-season? People just love to find a play to hate even when they have no clue if the player is good or bad. There is just not enough information available for fans to evaluate Street. He is a 2nd year guy with a bad ankle. If not for other injures he probably wouldn't even be active until his ankle gets better but they're out of WRs so he has had to play.

Yes, it's possible that Street can't play but there really is no way for us as fans to know at this point. He did look good in the preseason before the ankle injury.

Herd mentality with their appointed scapegoats.

We need a backup for the X and Street is it until someone takes it which of course is possible. People want to replace him without understanding the differences between a X and Z.

From what little film I've seen of Mayle it looks like he can catch just fine. Where is the "he can't catch" coming from. He catches with his hands and looks like he can hang on to it when tackled. He looks fast enough to out run DBs.

Oh that tricky Garrett. This is why the offense's practice was closed the other day.

It all makes sense now.

Uh.. I guess Jason Garrett forgot to tell Broaddus they changed their mind about bringing up Edwards and decided to bring up Mayle instead. This guy doesn't have any inside info like people think he does. He'll find out when Garrett wants to release the info to us all.
Uh I don't remember him saying Garrett told him on the first place. Just say you want to hate in the guy instead of this junk and it would be better off. He gets some stuff wrong just like everybody outside of you Mr Hennig. Out of curiosity what does it matter if he got it wrong? You got money on the game and this is vital info? Its not lol

The most knowledge fans in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns.

He looks good, but also seems to be a showoff and diva.
Sometimes guys like this look good in college due to their size, but in NFL with guys as big and fast as them they
become ordinary.

But hey put him in the game and see what he does.
dont think street has done much at all, and WR corp needs a spark, some new blood.

He is also big enough to return kicks.

WRs are typically divas. No big deal. All about performance.

He couldn't catch a cold?

True, but he was still recovering from hand injury. Not a body catcher like Terrence Williams, and would instantlt be the best WR at running after the catch on the team, until Dez returns.

I lIke what I see on video and this has classic Browns Fail/Cowboys Win written all over it. Raw with potential.

yeah and if he did not want to play for the browns, he could have not tried, and had the broken finger.
He may have wanted to play for a team like the cowboys, a lot of players do.

And this and some other players, could be part of the secret practice thing.
Maybe cowboys will come out swinging with some new guys playing !
next man up only they are guys we havent see before.

I watched this guy at WSU in person on several occasions. He's a baller. If he gets a chance he's going to be a pleasant surprise to some of you. Can't believe some of y'all totally dismiss guys before you get a chance to see them play. Some of y'all are so good I can't believe you don't have NFL scouting jobs!!!!
