Team sticking together

Has Weeden ever had a decent stretch of games?

was gonna type the same thing. I think some people are not understanding how many of us feel: Nobody here is saying that Matt Cassel is gonna come in and be a Frank Reich, Jeff Hostetler, Earl Morrall or Don Strock back up QB. What most of us are saying is: We are absolutely sick of even looking at Brandon Weeden, never mind watching how inept he is at QB; so give us Matt Cassel because we don't think he can be worse.

Weeden is riding an 11 game losing streak, 4 with Dallas. Time for a change.

The games he's lost before he was on the roster aren't relevant. And he did come in and seal that PHI win.

We've lost three games in a row here. And not all of them were on Weeden, if you've been keeping track. I know he's the QB, but that doesn't mean he's single-handedly losing games. If he gets replaced in the lineup, that's fine if Cassel can be an upgrade. If not, we'd have won either ATL or NOLA just by capitalizing on the turnovers that were there and playing better defense and run blocking better.

It might be a reach but if some other teams were going like ours you would start to see some public discontent coming out. I think if things don't change soon there will be.

The offensive line, the running backs and the defense all needed to carry a little weight with some key players out. Instead, they've gone the other way and made the situation worse. By the time Romo is ready to come back, there might not be much to come back to.

A quarterback change would just be eye dressing at this point.

Of course his history as the starting QB is relevant. He has been pretty bad as a QB in the NFL.

If the game plan has to be tailored in a way that nullifies the whole offense there is no future with him. It isn't so much what he has or hasn't done, it is being able to see that his incapable of being an NFL QB. He can't make the reads, the decisions or whatever else it takes.

His bad plays are SOOOOOOOO bad he can't be allowed to play anymore. Remember Parcells and Romo. Take that and multiply it by 10.

I didn't say his history as a starting QB wasn't relevant. I said the won-loss streaks of the *team* he played on before he got here, in a different system (systems, actually), with different players playing different teams is not relevant to his w/l record here in Dallas. He has been pretty bad as a QB in the NFL, regardless.

I don't disagree re: the fact that he should demoted. But again, we've lost these games for a lot of reasons, and not all of them are on Weeden.

Our D had Brady on the ropes yesterday and we couldn't overcome 6 first half 3 and outs.

They stopped the run because Weeden is not a downfield threat. It is all related.

Where have you gone Tony Romo? Cowboys nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

Cowboys have their answer sitting in front of them in Kellen Moore...But they are too stupid to pull that trigger. Can't have a winning QB/ controversy while Romo sits

Weeden has been figured out. Take away witten, clog up the running lanes and game over. If you want to see that exact same situation play out over and over, keep Weeden in there and also risk losing the locker room.
