1. Romo was an unknown when the Cowboys rolled the dice to save the year....so there is a precedence.

2. I just can't see Cowboy Nation tolerating a 5 game losing streak without panic setting in......Cowboys would make a move....and it wouldn't be going back to Weedon. That bridge has been burned.

If Cassel doesn't work out, the Cowboys' season flames out. If nothing else, Cassel can play check-down just like Weeden...you don't have to be all-world to do that.

I dont necessarily agree and im rooting for cassel to provide a spark to the offense and entire team in general.

At least with Showers we would have the possibility of the D having to play the run opening things up for the pass, something in which under Weeden we weren't able to accomplish. If you want Rocky Road instead of "Vanilla" go with Showers! hahaha
