Go back and read your post. You started by saying what Dez should or shouldn't be saying. Not what you wanted for yourself.
Bottom line is you have a defeatist attitude. He doesn't. That's what bothers you. That you can't and don't have that fight. To a player like Dez part of not giving up and being a sissified quitter is not hanging his head as the crowd shouts him and his teamates down with taunts. Rather, he talks back to let them know he's not giving up and he's confident enough to put it out there with the risk of being wrong. Whatever risk that is. At least he's putting that "out there".
Unlike a quitter who walks around with his head down whining about the team. And cries "we don't have a chance" then puts nothing out there. Just quits.
It seems to me this braggish talk by Dez doesn't accomplish anything worthwhile. It simply comes off as being a refusal to accept the need for a sense of urgency. This team is in trouble. Any puffed up talk is simply unrealistic.
Youthful braggadocio seems to come with the territory. While I am more of a be quiet, put your head down , and work your rear off person myself, I suppose Dez's outspoken optimism is better than defeatism.
Man you are truly clueless aren't you. I'm just a fan you weirdo, I can't have a defeatist attitude or a winning attitude, because I'M NOT PLAYING. Dez is an actual player so yes, his attitude matters, but as of right now HE IS NOT PLAYING, so him running his mouth to a bunch of fans about "running the East" is foolish because he isn't out there to back up his talking. Like I said before, if Dez was actually playing, I would have no problem with him saying this because he would have the opportunity to go out there and back up his talk. Your problem is that you like to worship Dez Bryant and any other Cowboy players that you like. It's very weird for a grown man to be so in to their feelings about football players. Grow up man or create a better argument because right now, you're just flat out embarrassing yourself.
History says it can be done.
Now you're accusing me of having a crush on Dez. Interesting. That's called projection.
You can't have a defeatist attitude as a fan? That's really very dumb to say. Or maybe it's denial.
You may need to take a look at the choices you make. Only you are responsible for you. If attacking me makes you feel better, or Dez, or any others you may lash at out, then it's very likely you do indeed need to look at yourself and your choices for the explanation of your anger. Possibly that's why you feel the need to tell others how to act.But since you like to tell me how Dez or anyone should react when several people are yelling taunts to you and your teamates. Try to imagine yourself in a leadership role as Dez is.
Please stop yelling at me with all caps. It's frightening.
You obviously are just replying just to talk more nonsense, nothing you just said is relevant to what my initial point was. I never once said that you have a crush on Dez, so not only are you a hypocrite, you're a liar now too.
I'll ask one more time. How should a team leader react when he and his teamates, who he is a leader of, react to several fans taunting them about the loss of their team just experienced. Who knows possibly even calling him out by name. How would you react?
How should one react? I trust your advice because you seem so well adjusted and would probably be able to remain calm.
How am I a hippocrite again?
Any more implications, accusations, or names you'd like to call me? Go ahead. You're funny
Just re read what you've been posting back to me and you will see your lies and your hypocrisy. I'm not going to explain anything else to you, I don't think you're capable of having a logical conversation.
I knew you couldn't answer.
Dez reacted normally given the situation and should be applauded for not being a coward and tucking his tail and running like some fans like to do.
There. I did it for you.
You owe me

I don't mind these types of comments from key players. Wasn't it just 2 weeks ago we heard Romo make the "see you in February" comment?
As long as they're not running their mouth constantly talking trash, then it doesn't bother me.
I like to know they still have faith. Haven't conceded defeat. We're still in this.
Fans can give up but players can't especially when the division is that bad.
personally I find it dumb. Its false confidence. They ate the cheese last year and are still in that frame of mind;
I would like them all to just shutup . And maybe win a game. One game. Before they run their mouths about SB or winning the East.
A first down, some TDs , good defense and a W is what are goal should be right now. were 2-4 and people are talking about Super Bowl.....
They ate the cheese; They arent that good. Which has really surprised me. I ate the cheese too...............
