I havent said a peep about Crawford..... nothing.

Murray isnt having a good year yet. It is most certainly scheme. Obviously, the guy can run the football. He has done it at every level....so, talent isnt lacking there. There may be some weakness to his game. He doesnt have that second gear in the open field. But he isnt "untalented"......... its scheme and the way he is being used in that offense that Chip runs..... it doesnt seem to fit him well.

But forget all that. Murray is a professional football player and even a better , stand up, human being. Murray is the poster child for RKG. .................................imho.

Spray Tan is a stand up human being?:lmao2:

I wish you guys would stop getting my hopes up with this Demarco speculation. I'm going to need a towel in a minute.

The FO is already called out. I called them out the moment they lacked the groin to fight for Demarco and then again when they showed 20/60 vision in selecting Chaz Green where a RB could have been selected. They flushed the whole RB position right down the drain.

And directly after proving to the rest of the league that a dominant running game can put you in rare territory, the type of team that can go on the road and lay it on the defending SB champs. This organization is too stupid to realize their good fortune, even when it smacks them right in the face. We had something last year that no other team had and they threw it away because they wanted to show everyone how good they've become at managing the salary cap.

Wrong. Managing the salary cap isn't about dumping salary. It's about finding value. And value is determined by a combination of cost and quality. Was Murray expensive? Yes. But he is also an incredible football player who could change the dynamic of an entire team.

Wow had an opportunity of a life time behind a terrific OL and never took advantage of it. Every back in the NFL would have loved to have been in his shoes. The Idiot dropped the ball on this one or should I say dropped all the meat.

Does this Murray rumor have any legs or just Broadus blowing smoke?

Unless Chaz Green blows Free out of the water, I think that pick was the one that cost us the most. We definitely should have drafted an RB in the 3rd round. I just wish it was next year that we tanked instead of this year so that we could grab Fournette. Fournette behind this line would be unbelievable.

Dallas could have had Doug Martin for a fifth. Tampa was shopping him (allegedly)

I think the Eagles would be more than happy to dump his contract and pick up a draft pick......And I'd even throw in Doug Free too...:)

There is no rumor.

The guy just said something about trading for Murray and Broadus gave him a "wouldn't that be great" type of comment.

The Cowboys have moved on from Randle and DeMarco. Some of you can't let go about Murray. The FO did the right thing by not signing him to a stupid contract. Let it go the running game isn't the problem. Murray is done!!!!

What a great decision to go with him and not resign Murray.

Didn't read entire thread so apologies if this has already been hashed.

That is a misrepresentation of the facts. Murray was released because they weren't prepared to pay as much as he commanded. They certainly weren't happy about him leaving.

Randle was here and got the chance to run with it (pun intended). You can see how much they depended on him by the fact they brought McFadden in early. They didn't waste any time bringing others on board either. He never was a known commodity they were depending on.

I'm all for it. I make plenty of errors in player evaluations, but I'm pretty strong at RB evaluations and I didn't see Randle as 'the guy' after the Giants game and nothing changed my mind ever since. I think they are feeling more comfortable with CMike, McFadden and Smith and I would not be surprised if they bring Jarred Hyne in (I like his potential as a returner, he has to improve his return technique though).

I just saw a guy that bounced and danced too much and could not it the lane hard. His best runs were usually on poor over-pursuits by the defense and disciplined defenses catch on to that which is why he was poor in the second half.

We still need a RB in the draft unless CMike and Smith start to shine. But it was time to cut bait with Randle.

I make that deal in a heartbeat. Why Lovie Smith hates Martin is beyond me. That kid was awesome while he was here in Boise... RKG. Garrett would love him.

I don't necessarily disagree that the RB spot could have been handled differently. But banging on the Chaz Green pick is a little bizarre to me when one considers the RBs that fell in the draft in the next 20 picks or so after the Green pick were the likes of Matt Jones (OK), Langford (done nothing), J. Allen (done nothing), Mike Davis (done nothing).

Now if one of those guys was blowing up, you might have an argument. But all four of those guys might (likely) might not have been any better than what we started the season with.
