"Was".
I find it funny that the very same people who are all over Crawford for cashing in than checking out, seem to ignore the 8 million running back in Philly running for 3.5 yds a carry.

I havent said a peep about Crawford..... nothing.

Murray isnt having a good year yet. It is most certainly scheme. Obviously, the guy can run the football. He has done it at every level....so, talent isnt lacking there. There may be some weakness to his game. He doesnt have that second gear in the open field. But he isnt "untalented"......... its scheme and the way he is being used in that offense that Chip runs..... it doesnt seem to fit him well.

But forget all that. Murray is a professional football player and even a better , stand up, human being. Murray is the poster child for RKG. .................................imho.

There is nothing to celebrate.

Not for the Cowboys and not for the troubled young man.

True. He was never really able to cope with being the starting running back for the Cowboys and the fact the organization thought he was is scary.

He was more Dunbar than Murray on the field
More McCain then Lee off it.

In a quarterback Super Bowl window - it's inexcusable how the position was handled.

this is so sad it should of been a sign to this fo that when you have a player that is paid his type of money and u steal underwear and cologne from dillards then have incident with your gf in feb then maybe u need to find someone else way before now this is all on the FO. in my mind.

Id take Crawford over Murray too. He may be having an off year as of right now, at the end of the day, the stats dont favour a RB who touched the ball over 400 times in a season. Crawford has more upside. So yes, it was the right decision. And if we had 6 million a year in Murray we wouldnt be able to re-sign hardy, which is what the goal is.

Which year was his "on" year?

Lost in the Woods is looking like a pretty good place to be right now Sas.

If they waste a 3rd rounder getting Murray back, then the FO needs to be called out.

I have to admit, this idea has crossed my mind more than once. Admit your mistake, get this guy back where he belongs and let's win some titles. Not that Kelly is trading this guy back to us. Or at all.

I think it was just speculation. It's in the post above of someone asking Broaddus about it.

The FO is already called out. I called them out the moment they lacked the groin to fight for Demarco and then again when they showed 20/60 vision in selecting Chaz Green where a RB could have been selected. They flushed the whole RB position right down the drain.

Did they know he was crazy when they drafted him?

Just asking because he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who could hide it.

Unless Chaz Green blows Free out of the water, I think that pick was the one that cost us the most. We definitely should have drafted an RB in the 3rd round. I just wish it was next year that we tanked instead of this year so that we could grab Fournette. Fournette behind this line would be unbelievable.

They released him because they found out McFadden can carry the load as good, if not better than Randle... He's been a head-case for awhile...

As crazy as it sounds.....I think I'd make the deal. Because I think we still get a compensatory pick. so It basically ends up being a wash...and you get the player.
