Who thinks Red would have gone for it on 4th and 1 if the roles were reversed? Think he plays the field position game?

Oh well we've def established a losing mentality. Capped off this time by a nice rookie mistake. Lovely stuff really

What's it matter?

Jerry Jones pushed to get Cassel on this team. It's all Jerry's fault. That pick six was a rookie mistake and cost the Cowboys the game. Cassel can't even win a game with Dez Bryant!

He is not worse than Brandon Weeden, so maybe Jerry did something right for once.

As frustrated as I am, as outspoken as I've been about it, there's really no use. Marinelli isn't even close to being on the hot seat, he'll be here next week once again doing very little to help out our offense that is missing our MVP.

I have never been able to figure this out. Pretty since the Super Bowl years our defense has been so bad and predictable. We've had good defensive players. Is it the coaching? Surely not all of our defensive coaching sucks all those years has it? From Zimmer to Wade to Ryan to Marinelli why can't we field a dominant defense.

We were the second ranked defense in 2010 when Stewart was fired and Wade finally took over. We won the division and our first play-off game in years.

The next year, the first 8 games, Garrett's offense had 19 TOs, before Wade was fired.

Imagine how good this team could have been with Romo in his prime and a legitimate OC?

Early on, I was in the group that felt like getting Romo back would right most of the wrongs. While I think his presence will breathe some confidence into the entire team they simply don't have right now, it's becoming clear this team has plenty of other problems.

We're back to the early Garrett years of inventing new ways to lose every week. Muffed punt here, walk-off touchdown there, offensive ineptitude over here. Lot of warts popping up.

Has nothing to do with the 2-6 Cowboys.... I just don't think the 4-4 Eagles are that good!

I was speaking in relative terms and the records, especially over the past 6 weeks, are quite clear.

By all means, revel in our 2-6 then.

whos reveling, the only people shocked are the fans who made excuses for Garret, you got out played by Sam I dont belong in the league Bradford, No more excuses.

Where is this DLaw everyone told me was worth the trade, I had said the piper has been paid and its not worth it. Hitchens, 1 play and our fans are so used to suckage they are thrilled with this guy, and than Tyrone Crawford. Where were these guys tonight? Where were they? No one is reveling because most of us didnt fall for the smoke and mirrors, sorry you ddi, but dont get mad at others for seeing waht you didnt.

Cassell was decent, especially for what he is, a backup. But the pick 6 was pretty much the killer play. That's Dallas for you, do a lot of things well, make one or two mistakes when that kill you, and fold when it really matters

I think this is a bit unfair...the offense answered the bell twice. It's the defense that couldn't do its job.

How's it unfair? He said you knew "the Cowboys" would fold. Not the defense, not the offense. I knew we'd lose after we tied the game and forced overtime. When the offense plays well enough to win, the defense blows it. When the defense plays well enough to win, the offense blows it. When they both play well, special teams blows it.

Cue the this isn't the coaching brigade. This team could get the #1 pick if Romo doesn't come back, but it's not on the coaching. :lmao:

After this 6 game slide, I am now ready to join the anti-Garrett group. Really good NFL head coaches find a way to get their team a win and not let losing streaks reach 6 games. He just doesn't have what it takes. Maybe at his next stop he will be very good, but it ain't happening here. And the def coord can hit the road too. I can't see why others love him so much. He has come up small in a season that we needed the defense to play lights out. Get these frauds out of town.

Wilcox used to be a full time starter for this team. Let that sink in. He may literally be the worst DB in the league. I have no idea how he blew that angle on the final play. He was right there...
