So Jerry deserves the blame for a team not being able to win a SINGLE game in two months? Seriously, I don't know how Jason does it. The team can lose seven straight and the locker room can be in total disarray, yet somehow this guy escapes any type of blame from the media. Screw John Gotti, Garrett is the true teflon don.

I was expecting at any second for Hitzges to yell, "you kids get out of my yard". That was a ridiculous rant by an curmudgeon out of touch with reality. Nothing but a totally biased axe to grind. If Jerry heard it he probably laughed his butt off, I know I did. Go fly a kite Norm... but go make me a sandwich first.

Norm loves the sound of his own voice, but I can't listen to it.

It's like fingernails on the chalkboard.

It's JJ's team and his money, not mine or Norm's or even JG's.
And he has plenty of $$$, so he is not going to care about the success of his business at this point in his life; he wants to win more than the rest of us do.

But he's flawed (like the rest of us), by the fact that he loves his players and coaches. He is loyal to a fault, and it gets in the way of proper business decisions. And he's made some business decisions on players, going against his gut feel, that have not worked out well. So, now he's really conflicted, enough to leave many of those decisions up to Steven (which also hurts his gut).

If bringing back Murray or Durant or Harris or Rob Ryan would solve our problem, he'd do it. (Jimmy is not coming back)

Winning SB's is just difficult; if it were easy, then Detroit, Chicago, Philly and 10 other losers would have won a few.

Jerry hired the coach who can't win one game unless all the stars are aligned just perfectly. But I don't think that was what Hitzges rant was about any way.

You must have missed Bradshaw calling for Garrett to go before the game. But yes, the consensus is that Garrett is only a symptom of a larger problem and that's probably right.

Did you hear Dunham and Miller this morning? They wanted to put the losing season on the bad karma for signing Greg Hardy....virtually no JG complaints.....Norm feels sorry for JG so he "gets a pass"

Well, most every one knows the bigger problem.

Feel like I've heard this before.

It's like Groundhog Day around here.

It is indeed. Jerry Jones is a human embarrassment....on the level of an adult man who craps his pants. One day after another after another. He is a hopeless drunk..

Whatever soul there might have resided in his soul...died a long time ago.

There was actually a time during the SB years that I respected him. Seems like a lifetime ago.

I understand Norm's frustration, but:

1. Name the players that wouldn't be here if Garrett had his way?

2. Garrett wanted McClain here based on Nick Saban's recommendation. And who would play the MIKE without McClain? Lee?

3. We have no idea if Hardy is late or missing meetings. Stop acting like you know for sure.

4. Maybe if we had a coach and a PR person that could handle the media so they protect players like Dez who get accused of 'having a tape worse than the Ray Rice tape' and he was celebrating the Ricardo Lockett injury, maybe this stuff wouldn't happen.

5. I don't think you can fine Dez a game check even if you wanted to...CBA rules.

6. What has Jerry done to 'sell his soul?' If it's signing Greg Hardy, then why haven't Ziggy Wilf 'sold his soul' by having Adrian Peterson on the team? How about Mark Davis with Aldon Smith? How about Jed York last year with Ray McDonald? How about Robert Kraft who drafted a known gang banger who eventually murdered somebody? How about Robert Kraft signing Corey Dillon years ago?

7. What other players signed that Jerry 'sold his soul' for? I'm assuming Dez Bryant. McClain is a bit of a stretch. Did he sell his soul last year when he signed McClain?

8. How about you present an argument as to what Greg Hardy did? Here's an idea, if you're so confident that Hardy did what he did, then you should try and look at the actual case from the point of trying to discredit Holder. If he clearly did it, then you should be able to find nothing to clear his name. I used to think that way about Hardy as well until I finally looked at all of the evidence and bench trial testimony.

9. And would be saying any of this if Romo and Dez didn't get injured? Really, ask yourself that.

So this year Jerry is the puppet master once again and Garrett his little red-headed wood and string buddy. Funny how the daggers only come out when they lose, no talk last year of puppets and Mister Geppetto's, no talk even this year when the team started 2-0 despite injuries and the loss of the QB.

One thing I do know Jason Garrett is in the perfect position.
Team wins-he's the next Tom Landry
Team loses-he is a neutered head coach by his meddling owner, how can he possibly be successful???

This is what losing brings. Romo doesn't go down and we are sitting here at 7-2 or 6-3 and nobody would be saying a whole lot about locker room issues.

Jerry got drunk on what he felt was a pat hand for this season and he made some questionable personnel decisions. He felt we were a pass rush away from #6.
Hardy hasn't been worth the trouble . The team hasn't found a replacement for d Harris and the impact of losing Callahan seems to be important. Just all adds up to the most miserable season I can remember .
Norm and the bash jerry crowd are right in this regard..... When your head coach doesn't have the final say on the football team it's hard to coach players who know this. Nothing new. It's the way it's been done for the better part of 20 yrs

Not a bad rant, but....If this franchise was in an east coast market it would've been much worse. NY, Philly, Boston, Jerry and Jason would be battered and bloodied. They are very lucky they are in a much more relaxed setting with more polite people.

EXACTLY what this franchise need - fans to tell him enough! Pressure him to surrender running football matters he is proven incompetent, sell the team, or at least make him miserable if he continues to do the same thing. For those that mention the three SBs - that's mostly accidentally picking Jimmy as HC. For years, fans have ENABLED Jerry - that simple.

Tame.

I don't think I could stop in 5 to 6 minutes. It would take hours. In fact, I've decided to post on the rant forum and the topic will be Jerry Jones, his hypocrisy, his total lack of credibility, and his betrayal to Cowboy fans everywhere.

I'm really posting it just for me, I really need a way to get this out of my system, I am so disgusted that he is holding my loyalty and 40 year emotional investment hostage.

Norm is spot on.

You have heard the continual folk lore from the same media bellowers. Jerry is not the cause of the problems...just a participant.

Nice guys don't win in the NFL, committed teams who sacrifice all for wins, do...(oh, and those can be nice or not)

Another classic Norm rant about Jerry Jones......

http://www.theunticket.com/norms-rant-on-jerry-jones/

Ok i half said what norman hiccup half said but only not in a eastern ascent and without mustach hairs being pulled into the mouf by his feigned indination and anger.
But he is so correct.

I dont think off Jason as neutered, just gutless and unimaginative and thinking his smile and intellectualism match mein. Jason and Jerra and Stephen half trampled on our new money-upper lower-class dreams and sensibilities for to long.

If I could afford a ticket I would walk up to the suite and present mein credentials and ax Jerra: "What tha ****?"
Thats what i would tell him and maybe ax him to gift to mein start-up: BigBrain LCC. Also, being polite and stuff, I would look at his women and say "Are you all models?" and maybe high-5 Jerra.
Jerra send me a ticket so I can do this
