It seems like he is a calmer, cooler, more same person these days, but many of the people that are so devoted to the game don't make great coaches. I am not sure he would make a great coach....in saying that, it was interesting to hear Aikman say that one of the things that shocked him when Haley came was that he knew what everyone in the defense was supposed to do. The calls, the coverages, adjustments....he knew everything and that was pretty unusual for someone on the DL. When you think about it, how many DL become great coordinators or coaches? Seems like a lot of LB and secondary guys make up the majority of defensive coordinators.
