Corey White claimed by Arizona

Not like Carr is guarding #1 recievers. He follows #1 recievers around the field, that's about it. Doesn't jam them, doesn't make them change their routes, doesn't make plays on the ball. Of course White would be no better.

I don't recall too many of Carr's guys destroying us in the secondary.

Watch White play on a real good defensive team. Great pick up for Arizona.

I think people are overrating this guy based on preseason. Remember, he wasn't good enough to play for one of the worst defenses of all time and hardly seen the field with us. The coaching staff felt like a practice squad player was better.

This is a staff that thinks Weeden and Hayden are good enough to play in starting roles - perhaps White's sartorial intransigence had more to do with his release than his play on the field?

How can he be claimed? He was released over a week ago. Wouldn't he just be signed?

He was cut for not wearing a suite and it gave the Garrett supporters something else to cling on to besides what really matters.

I know that is what has been said publicly, but I don't buy it. That's only part of the story. If this team does indeed cut guys who are contributors for not wearing suits, is says even more about how out of touch they are. A hefty fine makes sense, but cutting a guy?

That's what White said that he was told.

Like I said, I don't think it was just not wearing a suit. I just think that was the final straw.

But as I have also said, if that is what got him cut, than this team is completely out of touch. Kill your best friend? We'll find a place for you. Accusations of spousal abuse? Here is 12 million. Petty theft? Want to be our starting running back? Dress code infraction? YOU'RE FIRED!

Corey White wasn't a top level guy, but he did contribute and contribute well.

Heck, buy him a suit.

Bro, I don't care how good he looked on the field, he didn't wear a suit and tie. That makes or breaks everything. RKG's don't grow on trees. Classy Football team > Doing whatever it takes to win Football team.

Marion Barber got to sit the first play for not wearing a suit and tie.. Got to love that Garrett culture..

Nothing great to be honest. But for a defense that claims to be bend but don't break? He seems to be doing what this defense wants him to do.

Agreed. But I'm not convinced that a bend not break defense is built to win games. Seems like it allows the other team to control the clock.

Of course it wasn't just for wearing a suit. But that's a picayune reason to cut somebody, so it makes for a better reason if you have an agenda.

If he got cut, and it it wasn't for his play on the field, then it was because of how he handled himself as a teammate. Not complying with the dress code might be part of that, but there are other ways of making that point if that's the only issue.

You realize that's exactly the point I was making, right? LOL

Why would they? so he can enact his revenge on his former team like he did against Seattle?
