National Media

Let me preface by saying I think our chances are slim. However, anyone who's watched Green Bay the past month and thinks that's a good football team, right now, is smoking crack.

One game behind a team with four games to go isn't so bad.
One game behind three different teams with four games to go is really bad. We need a ton of help and the margin for error is really small.
I think we can beat Green Bay, but I sure wouldn't put any money on it.

The good news is that we're in pretty good tiebreaker shape: beating the 'Skins gives us the tiebreak over them and the Giants, but it's more complicated against the Eagles. Also, looking at the upcoming week, I could see all our divisional opponents losing very easily. I give us a 1-in-25 chance of being in a four-way tie for first one week from today.

Their offense is bad.... I'd even go as far to say as really bad.

Their defense is actually decent which is why they haven't completely tanked.

I think this game could be ugly like the Cowboys-Commanders game and be decided in the last minute or so.

So what if he breaks it again, he has the whole off season to heal. How much more damage can he do to a non throwing arm.
 
Statement game GB is in for a rough one as we win by 2 scores.
 
This team can't score points, and the defense is either great or terrible. Not beating GB or making the playoffs IMO.

IF Cassell can calm down and hit some of those open throws, we have a decent shot at beating them. Their O-line is banged up, take Hayden out and give Irving more chances alone with Gregory.

  • For the teams that made the playoffs, the rest of the picks are ordered by playoff record, with the teams that lose getting lower picks based on which round they were ousted and the Super Bowl winner getting the last pick.
  • For the playoff teams that got eliminated in the same round, their order is determined by regular season record.
Pretty sure once you make the playoffs, everyone that didn't gets to pick ahead of you.

I won't say zero chance only because of how bad the division is, but I don't blame them. Non-Romo quarterbacks are now 1-7 this season and we barely won last night. While I'm optimistic, the realist in me says enjoy each win this season like its the last .. because it might just be :)

I stand corrected, I thought teams who advanced were locked in at 25-32 even if a 7-9 lost in divisional round, that team would stay n the 25-32 range while others who got eliminated in the WC round would have their draft order based on only record.

Cassell will need to get it together, he was hurendous for 45 min yesterday. Still can't understand why a creative but simple offensive game plan can't be executed with the talent on this team. Sound, fundamental football is all this team needs to execute.
