On a vet minimum contract, would you guys take a flyer on him? Say what you want about the Cowboys, our methods of dealing with problem players seems to be better than anyone except the Pats. I think him and Dez would be a terrifying duo for defensive coordinators. Thoughts?

Was he released by the Browns? And if so, when is his suspension going to end?

He's not getting released by Browns IMO and I don't think he'd do minimum even if he was

Yes he would be worth it, the only problem is that we've reach our quota on problem childs.

Was Hardy worth it? Since we're losing, most people would say no. If we were winning, people would probably be loving him. He wasn't All-World but he was solid this year. If we picked up Josh Gordon and he had a season similar to what Dez had this year, people would hate him if we went 4-12, and people would probably love him if we went 12-4. Look at last year. Tyrone Crawford wasn't any worse this year than he was last year, but he was the next big thing last year and he's JAG this year.

From what I know he's not a locker room cancer like some of these guys who get in trouble with the law. He just has a smoking problem off the field. If we could get him some counseling and he shows that he's willing to commit to football again, I'd love to bring him in. He's an elite WR... probably top 5 when he's actually staying out of trouble. Him and Dez together = best receiving duo in the league by a mile.

Not only would I take him I would pay him much more than a vet minimum contract.
The guy is a real weapon.
I don't think the Browns are letting him go though.

I dont see them keeping him. Hes in a contract year right now. They are better off releasing him. And after a season like this, Jerry is going to be making a splash. THat much i can guarantee

Not for or against. Could be a good addition. But it seems to me that people are way over-reacting to this year generally.

Ultimately, we were a few points from winning most of our games while playing without our starting quarterback. I've never been the biggest Romo guy, but I recognize that his presence would have made a big difference in our record.

I guess my point is that people want to re-do everything, but realistically, I don't think we're that far off of where we thought we could be.

I'd rather invest a 2nd or 3rd on a stud coming out of college who doesn't carry all that baggage with him.

For the vet minimum? All day. He's gonna want more. That's a steal for the vet minimum even with his issues.

The Browns would have to release him, which they're not going to do. He's an elite talent on the field, just needs to stop smoking the herb.
