Not sure we need to resign Hardy

only caught second half of game but DL looked beastly. Watched Gregory bull rushing OL back into QB. With Gregory and Lawrence really improving I am leaning on not resigning Hardy and use that money on signing two of next three options: DT/CB/LB.

If you don't resign him, you have created another hole to fill. We're stretching our resources thin enough this offseason with other holes to fill. We just don't need to break the bank on him. Last I checked he still lead the defense in QB pressures.

I'm glad he isn't playing on the same level as he was early on, it will only make him cheaper to sign, if they wanted to. But he has the ability, I'm just being off for a year and a half didn't help. He can be elite, and is young enough to be. Only worry would be progress stopping for Gregory

Gregory hasn't done enough for me to have the confidence to say "maybe we don't need Hardy". And it's not a strong market for corners in FA.

I think most people saw those double digit sacks before he came here and expected the same.

He is a good player but considering the headache and mediocre production this season, I could see the Cowboys letting him walk unless he somehow comes cheap.

Hardy is no longer an elite pass rusher and I have been disappointed overall with his play, it has not been horrible but certainly not elite.

I wouldn't discount the fact that D-Law and company benefited from the fact that Hardy was there.

A top 5 pick isn't cheap. Talking 4/24m all guaranteed last year. Fifth year option would bring it close to 5/40m.

I think we can get Hardy for that and spend the top 5 pick on Goff or Lynch.

The defense benefits from him.

If he is not asking for a lot then pay him.

Demarcus Lawrence agrees with me.

Review Lawrence's production before Hardy.
