Paxton Lynch VS Jared Goff. Who is the best QB in this draft

I like Goff better than Lynch. Lynch is big and strong but does not throw well on the run and his dinky dunky passes are not impressive.

That's not true.

Lynch actually does throw well on the move as he manages to get his shoulders square before throwing the ball.

I'd take either but I like the fact Lynch can make plays with his feet which makes him more of a dual threat than Geoff.

Both will need time but if we pull the trigger now, Romo might last 2-3 years and allow them to develop.

Watch full games, watch games against the better teams in the pac 12. All loses. 0-5 against teams that know him. Like they will know him in the NFL. Not the bottom feeders in the pac12 that every league has to get that bowl money. 9TD passes - 9 INT. Does that look like top 10 material?

If you actually watch the tape and don't go off the box score..you'll see many of those interceptions weren't his fault...and even w the ones that were his fault...they were often good decisions...

Goff is significantly further ahead of Lynch when it comes to playing qb

I like Lynch but i dont trust Wade wilson to work with him, they need a new Qb coach if they pick Lynch.

They need a new QB coach regardless if they intend to invest a top five first round choice on a QB to develop.

The next QB Wilson develops will be his first.

There is only one QB worth taking with a premium pick in this class...that guy is Goff..

We gotta hope those idiots in Cleveland don't take him

Interceptions that were his fault were good decisions? This is when you know you're sold on a guy no matter what.

And if the goal is to sit a guy for a few seasons (best case)... Why do you care who is further along today?

Hint: you shouldn't.

I see a LOT of wide open receivers in those highlights. That's not life in the NFL, especially on our team.

and if you look at highlights of other top QB over the years you find the same thing. WR will get open a lot more so than in the NFL. The top 2 QB I think will have a great chance to develop into quality NFL QB that is my view if you feel different then that is your view.

Guys, YouTube highlights are very misleading. You're gonna see some great things, but it's just as advertised - HIGHLIGHTS.

There's a better site where you can see full game reels on just about every player...Every play the player is involved in.

I don't base my view on utube I have watched Lynch as well as Goff. Only reason I post the utube they are shorter cuts.

There is a difference between a bad decision and a bad throw...a huge difference

Because often times individuals who don't have the brain power to play qb...don't develop that

But you can develop recognition and an understanding of NFL defences by watching film and learning from a good pro.

Touche I like how you put that bro. Every disagreement should end like that :)

I was not trying to be snotty about it, glad you did not take it that way. I know I have a view and you will have views, as well as Jerry and the franchise has their own views. I don't think drafting another player outside of QB is a death sentence but I do think both QB in this draft are worthy of a 1st rd selection and I would just hate to be looking for a QB the day after Romo says that he is done.

For the Lynch highlights, at the 1:57 mark, the commentator says "a rare snap under center" as Lynch lines up.

Wentz - IMO

1.5 years as a starter, he has thrown for close to 4100 yards, 65% completion percentage, 35 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for over 800 yards the last two seasons.

He has more talent than Jimmy Garoppolo from the 2014 draft and should get drafted higher. From what I have seen to date, I would have no problem pulling the trigger on this player in the first round.

Agreed.

I'd swap down on first rounders and take him at 20-25.

Great prospect. Very accurate and poised. Great leader and student of the game.
Got all the measurables at 6'6", 230#, 4.8 40, strong arm.

Concern with Wentz is he is coming off a broken wrist. Watched the results with Ryan Leaf and even Danny White after he broke his wrist, they were never the same

Medical report says it's uncomplicated and no problem.
