thats usually the way it works. John Harbaugh was laughed at by fans when he got the HC job with the ravens after only reaching as far as ST coach.
 
Best thing about this was Coughlin pulling out of consideration for the Eagals job, reportedly due to lack of a belief that they could win quickly. Bwahahahaa!

The offense he runs is far superior to what the Eagles have been doing. He has called plays under Reid, and the offense he coordinated in KC has been successful without stars. It's solid as would have been a Coughlin hiring. The Eagles will return to NFC East football, but they will still struggle with a lack of personnel on the OL and defensive secondary.
 
Neither of the two hirings are making me quiver, but then again we shouldn't even talk look who is patrolling our ship. :lmao:

Hired as HC: check


Hmmmmm...... Where have I heard this story before?
 
Outside of Gase and Hue Jackson, most of these hirings are real head scratchers.
