When Doug Pederson was the backup QB in Green Bay, he lived down the street from me and one day he came knocking at my door after my son and his son got in a scuffle after playing some neighborhood football. His son broke my son's glasses and he came over to offer to pay to get them replaced. I declined his offer and we had a good laugh over it. His son Drew is QB at Samford now.
