Chiefs vs. Patriots thread

If the Cardinals lose tonight, I'll be 0-6 in rooting interests so far in the playoffs....

KC was once dead in the water.

Yet I never heard Reid say they were "battling" and "trying hard" each week.

He took the bullets. He took all the pressure on him.

Explains why they ran the table to make the postseason.

KC is finally playing like they have a fire lit under there butt. Too little to late most likely.

Man i dislike this football, so boring.

Patriots have it down, they take advantage of every rule that the League has in place in limiting team defense.

They are well coached and have an experienced QB to run the system.

If you are a fan of the team you love it, as an NFL fan, imo, it is terrible to watch.

I thought i left this type of football behind when i left Canada years ago, i was wrong... meh.

Rather see this then the refs hand the stealers games!

I'd say that means star talent is over-rated. Except at QB

I just think a lot of people and even NFL types over value individual talent and don't quite understand how scheme and the fit make a real difference.

You can have a team of all stars and fail. It is not that theme has not repeated itself over and over again.

Meanwhile, a good "team" wins, then their players become superstars and then what really brought success was forgotten.

I know where you are going with this.

Bad thing is amazingly other teams have not been able to duplicate this concept.

Granted the Pats have outstanding talent in Grok and a HOFer in Brady.

But the rest of the skill position players aren't anything to write home about.

And their offensive line is perhaps the worst of any team left in the playoffs and wasn't even average this season.

Their play-calling is nothing to complicated either... pass, pass, pass, run, pass, pass, run, pass, pass, pass.
