Dallas' North Roster For The Senior Bowl

Real interested in Braxton Miller, Kevin Hogan, Kenneth Dixon, Eric Murray, Carl Nassib, and Vernon Butler. I think Kevin Hogan is the most NFL ready QB in this draft and Nassib is my top choice for round 2.

Nassib? Really? I don't hate him but I think round 2 is a little high for him. Plus, not sure if he is a "rushman".

Well it's not the tell all, but he did lead the nation in sacks, was 8th in the nation in TFL, and 1st in forced fumbles. Hard to say what exactly Nassib is because he hasn't played that much football. He was a walk on at Penn State and 2015 was his first year starting at DE. He recorded 46 tackles, 19.5 TFL, 15.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and a Int last season. He's also a super smart kid with a 3.5 GPA and a leader in the weight room.

I'll be keeping an eye on Jeff Driskel. He had a rough past at Florida, but the kid definitely has tools to work with.

Tools yes, but very risky to draft. I would consider him only as an UDFA.

What I saw of him at Florida was very very bad. And the little bit I have seen with him at Louisiana Tech was in a very simple looking offense with a lot of scripted throws that almost required no brainpower to operate.

You're right, his time at Florida was a nightmare. If I remember correctly, didn't U.Meyer recruit him, then quit. Didn't he also have like 3 different off. coordinators? And, of course he was following a legend in Tebow. Not trying to make excuses for him, but it was a rough set of circumstances for any kid to go through.

Physically and from a tools point of view, I think he's as talented as any QB in this draft. He's probably going to test well at the combine, so it wouldn't surprise me if a team spends a 5th on him.

murray, thompson, butler all good to get a look at as some value in 2nd and 3rd round there at positons of need

Wentz & Hogan at QB
Dixson at RB
Miller at WR.....can be used in multiple roles.....
Powell & Killebrew at S
Perry & Fackrell at LB
Day, Butler & A. Washington at DT
Nassib at DE
Vannett at TE [because of the injury to Escobar and Hanna is a FA]

I wonder how far Washington will fall.I liked him but I doubt he is on our board.

Agreed. I think he's a lot Ben Gardner...and we saw how that worked otu.

I fell into the trap of thinking we had a deep DL during training camp.

I'm always a sucker for training camp reports about individual players.

Our DL was so AVG.

I like the South team a lot more. I wonder how the teams get selected.

DE - Noah Spence, Shawn Oakman
DT - Sheldon Rankins, Jarran Reed, and Quinton Jefferson
OLB - Jordan Jenkins and Dadi Nicolas
ILB - Reggie Ragland and Antoinio Morrison
CB - James Bradbury and Harlan Miller, plus Cyrus Jones as a PR and Nickel
S - Jalen Mills, Kevin Byard and DeAndre Houston-Carson

QB - Jake Coker, Jacoby Brissett, and Dak Prescott
RB - Jonathan Williams and Aaron Green
FB - Dan Vitale
WR - Paul McRoberts, Malcolm Mitchell, and Sterling Shepard
T - Le'Raven Clark and Spencer Drango
G - Vadal Alexander, Sebastian Tretola, Christian Westerman and Cody Whitehair

Probably 3x the players I'm interested in on the North.
