You got QB in first and DT in second so sounds good to me. With how Lynch is dropping in mocks, I'm sure plenty would complain. But with a season or two learning from the bench, I imagine Lynch would do fine for us down the road.

The truth is, no matter who is drafted where, there will be complaints. I highly doubt I'll complain, no matter who we get 1st, 2nd, and so on...I can see logic behind just about every outcome. When a team has as many holes as ours does, it's hard to go wrong.

I agree. I won't complain if we don't because we're gonna get a blue chipper no matter what, but if one of these QB's is a franchise-type we need to get him while the gettin's good.

If we don't get one in the first round, there are a few in the 2nd round. And maybe one or 2 a bit later, 3rd or 4th. But really prefer rounds one or 2.

Yep. I feel pretty strongly that we'll draft one, it's just a question of where. JG will get an up close look at a few of them this coming week. It'll be interesting to see what comes of that. A lot of people think JG will fall in love with the kid from NDSU because he'll be coaching him, but that's a double edged sword...he'll get an up close look at his flaws, as well. We'll just have to wait and see.

After watching more film I stand corrected, he is strong for his size and weight and he can get after the passer

I don't know any of these guys as I haven't been paying attention to college or anything about the draft. I did learn something new today though. I learned why the chicken crossed the road.
