Recommend a Netflix show

The Seattle setting with the constant rain really adds to the dreary and depressing plot. I agree. Stop after season 1.

Did you see the finale jterrrell? Such a laugher. The writers forgot who the characters were personality-wise.

yea, you could sense that the move to netflix and all just took it out of the show.
the setting and all was perfect season 1 but it just felt like a band that was 10 years out of date.
the ending was complete trash that was just tossed out there it was like someone breaking up with you via text:(

They have the Ancient Aliens seasons and Unsealed Alien/Conspiracy Files if into the cookey stuff or just a laugh, etc.

-All of the Tralier Park Boys seasons (you'll know if you like it w/in the first 15 mins = love or hate comedy)

Stand Up Specials: Bill Burr (Sorry you feel that way) or Mike Epps (Underrated Never Faded), Pablo Francisco (They Put it out There), Louis CK anything

Been home alot lately so feel like I've seen everything on the damn app. :)

+1 on trailer park boys. Very funny if you like always sunny and that type of comedy.

Bloodline.

It's a slow burn, but some great performances to behold. Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights is a main character if you're a big fan of him like me.

Kyle Chandler lives here in Dripping Springs. I ran into him at HEB a couple of months ago and we chatted a bit. He said Bloodline is only going to get mo better...

In my top 5 all time most definitely. I used to watch them on IFC bf Netflix luckily took over the reigns to give the show some real exposure here in the US. Feel good for that squad bc they have the talent but also the passion to continue on while not being big household names/$. Probably the most original comedy on TV tbh.

Netflix Original Series:
Stay away from Hemlock Grove. That series is terrible.

Master of None is pretty good. I liked Bloodline and Daredevil as well.

Non-Netflix Originals:
I have a new guilty pleasure in Supernatural. I have been binge-watching it with my wife.

When it's just me, I have been watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I have had quite a few laugh out loud moments. Very politically incorrect.

Love Chandler. He has that everyman vibe but has great acting chops. Did you ask him why Riggs took that True Detective gig? ;)

Haha... no... I didn't want to troll him. Just talked shortly about Bloodline...

His kids go to school with mine...

Yes. One of the most unheralded and underrated comedies I can remember. You're right. The cast deserves a lot of credit for continuing despite only a cult following.
Surprised the only actor to come out of the show was the actress that played Juno later. Ellen something.
Great cast.

I saw the first episode the other day. Very boring and not a single funny moment, in my opinion. And Always Sunny is my favorite show. I found the acting in TPB to be pretty awful and none of the characters seemed to have any comedic ability. Maybe it picks up after the pilot though.

I liked Trueblood on HBO. Is Supernatural anything like that?

It's not for me either. Not my type of humor. I can see why people would like it though.

For gamers, AKA Ellie of "Last of US":(:D

She was actually a great voice actor in that game as well (got rewards out the ying yang for it).

I loved Lilyhammer with Silvio from the Sopranos

Peaky Blinders was intense
Bloodline great acting

Orange New Black worth watching
House of Cards was awesome- too much Doug and the First Lady
Narcos started strong

Always Sunny- all time best
Arrested Development- same
Todd Margaret was great

Mainstream classics- Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy

I don't mind subtitles.

What are some suggestions?

El Patron del mar---Columbian version of Narcos with much more detail and episodes
Elite Squad and Eitte Squad Within (brazillion subtitles)
Dragon Tattoo Trilogy (originals made in Sweden with Swedish subtitles)
Sophie Scholl the final days
Generation War
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Flame & Citron

Tell No One
City of Men
The Hunt

The Army of Crime is also great but its no longer on Netflix

No, not much at all really. Vampire Diaries and The Originals are about the closest you will find to True blood. Supernatural is more of an action type supernatural beings show. It is about two brothers traveling around the U.S. hunting demons, ghosts, demigods, werewolves etc.. It's a really good show, particularly seasons 4 and 5.

I wouldn't class it with TrueBlood. The only thing I would say that TrueBlood had on Supernatural was the gratuitous lack of clothing. Season 1 of TrueBlood is about the only one I would say that I liked more than Supernatural up to this point. I am on season 4 of Supernatural now and it just send to be getting better.

Season 4 and 5 are the best of the series imo. The season 5 finale "Swan Song" is one of my favorite episodes in a tv series ever. "Yellow Fever" is in season 4 I think and its hilarious.
