KING: Peyton Manning’s squeaky-clean image was built on lies
SHAUN KING
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

Thirteen years ago, USA Today obtained 74 pages of explosive court documents on Peyton Manning, Archie Manning, the University of Tennessee, and Florida Southern College that revealed allegations of a sexual-assault scandal, cover up, and smear campaign of the victim that was so deep, so widespread and so ugly that it would've rocked the American sports world to its core. Yet USA Today never released those documents for reasons I can't explain.

this is sarcasm on your part, right?
its a made up story,it never happened. Yeah, someone waited till after a SB win to pull it out.
..and some how the cover up lost its grip 20 years later ? lol

just another made up story

Archie is the total control freak guy. I can see him behind this 110%.

I remember hearing them discuss this on The Ticket waaaay back in the day. So, this isn't the first time this particular rumor has swirled.

I still have no idea if it actually happened or not. Acting like it's a huge bombshell and ruins his image is a bit of a stretch though. It really sucks if it did happen and it basically cost her a career just because she spoke up about it. That part isn't all that surprising to me though. I'm sure universities do stuff like this all the time. Just sweep it under the rug and make it go away to protect star athletes.

The fact that it could potentially all originate with him teabagging someone a decade and a half ago amuses me though. It might have been best to just admit to it from the beginning. "Yeah, I was a dumb kid in college and teabagged an unsuspecting female trainer." It's still sexual harassment, yeah, but it's a lot better than ruining someone's career. It ain't like a teabagging incident was going to make Manning undraftable or something.

Anyone ever see Paytons medical files from Europe?

Don't know if this is true or not but I do know there are two sides to every story. Looks like Dr. Jamie Naughright filed another suit against an employer alleging some healing session caused her spinal/neck damage. Looks like civil suits are nothing new to this lady.

Ya, I was expecting some form of coerced sex. Not to say there is nothing wrong, but a tea bagging is basically a frat boy being a frat boy. He should have to just taken his medicine. Would have blown over long before the draft. Ruining someones career could hurt his legacy far more then some immature frat boy prank
