I just see the OT's not setting up properly. Not getting in front of him just letting Bosa go around. Not like Bosa is Reggie White on the corner. Again, post some Gifs where Bosa has to make a counter move.

Why not post some gifs where Bosa is getting stood up?

Just read that Kaepernick really wants to play for Browns and feeling is mutual. They or SD could take Bosa. Wonder what we'd do if it went Tunsil, Bosa, Ramsey? Wentz would not help the pass rush...

Don't they both play a 3-4? Bosa would really project to more of a DE in the NFL. Not sure he would fit their scheme at such a high pick.

I'm not completely sold on Bosa. Out of the two top prospects, I was questionable on Jack and Bosa, I've grown to love what Jack brings to the table while still worried about Bosa. I wouldn't hate the Bosa pick though.

I would say there's a better chance of us going QB at 4 than TB.................... that's how low the probabilities are that we take Elliott at 4.

If it falls like that?

You take Wentz. Or trade back.

 This is such horse****.

I agree that Gregory might have a better first step but to say its far and away better just seems ignorant to me. The power and size difference is glaring.

I actually thought Gregory looked mediocre until I realized that he was not going off the ball but playing off the tackle most downs. Bosa looks better swimming and ripping and doesn't use the spin move overly much.

Then of course there is the question of which one got a steady stream of double and triple teams and which one didn't. DC actions speak better than this mindless bias some of you guys have.

I respect and appreciate the breakdowns and analysis you provide the board. I'm sure you know more than me about breaking down players. I feel you're off about Bosa though. The best way I can describe it is he seems like a decent football player but, not much of an athlete. I don't mean measurables like the forty. He looks awkward to me and not smooth like an athlete. I'd guess football is the only thing he's good at athletically. Totally a guess. It's how I feel about this guy. Very Possibly a bust.

Full disclosure; If I had my choice, I would prefer Dallas take a QB at 4, but I don't think it is going to happen and I think Bosa is one of the guys they are looking at. Bosa comes from a football family, so all he probably does do is football. He can do this though, which is pretty athletic for a guy that is 6'6" and 269 pounds.

What I don't understand is how the Cowboys "let" Gregory test positive 4 times. After the first, don't you force him to piss for the organization every day so that you make sure when the NFL tests him, he's clean?

Need to understand the CBA dictates who and when you can test

That's impressive. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe his goofy looks throw me off.
What about the Ohio st people saying Spence was the better player?

Spence would probably be a little further up the draft board if not for his addiction issues, but they are different types of players. Bosa is a man against the run and uses his power more often than not to rush the passer. He is a prototypical LDE. Seems that everyone has him compared to Jared Allen, but he honestly reminds me of a young Michael Strahan, maybe his third year in the league after he put on more weight.

Spence is a RDE all the way with a good rip move, but nowhere near as stout against the run. Either player would start from day 1 in Dallas given what we have, but Bosa would make a bigger impact right away imo (which isn't worth much to anyone but me :) ).

So then we would move Lawrence to RDE if we select Bosa?

I did read something within the last month where Lawrence was talking about playing RDE if we required. He did play RDE in college.

What is it about the new NFL and all the 3-4 OLB's that makes folks think a 4-3 DE has to be a DWare guy who explodes around the OT without being touched, using his speed outside or inside?

Some of the best DE's in NFL history have been power and technique guys with high motors. Even in his prime years that excited so many fans about the Greg Hardy signing, he was never a speed guy running around DE's like the 230 LB Gregory. Look at Reggie White...certainly not a speed guy.

Maybe Bosa is a bust or flop; maybe he's just a solid Greg Ellis for 10 years, but to dismiss his pass rush due to speed and outside shoulder dip is to compare him only to the smaller speed pass rushers when there have been plenty of DE's who lived in the backfield on power, variety of moves, great hands, and relentless motors.

All the draft pundits who still have him listed as the best DE if not the best player in the draft, guys who describe him as the best pass rusher in the draft, must see something in his tape that fans here who don't like him don't see. I'm willing to bet he will have a better rookie year than most more athletic DE's have had in the past because they usually have to learn their craft. Bosa is described as a master technician already.

I personally hope we get a shot at Ramsey or a great trade down, but I really think folks are judging Bosa vs. guys like Von Miller who can't even play the same position.

They don't get the test results until he's suspended, only the league knows.

That would be correct!
