If Crawford signs that starts to form nice rotation of DE's.

Right side: Lawrence, Mayowa & Gregory
Left side: Lawrence, Crawford & Thorton

If Dallas adds either Bosa, Spence, Lawson, Buckner then you start to get excited about their potential.

Man I hope we do draft one cause Lawrence is gonna have a hell of a time starting at LDE and RDE simultaneously.

Wow, that is pretty bad to be honest.

We were last in the NFL in 4th quarter sacks last season and I really don't see a lot of improvement in this list.

I think between Lawrence, Gregory, Mayowa, Crawford, Russell and Thornton, I'd prefer to pass on Bosa and draft either Ramsey, Wentz or Elliott.

I definitely think the need at QB is bigger than the need at DB where we stand right now. And compound that with the idea that we can legitimately fill the DB needs elsewhere in the draft. All we've done at QB to-date is lose a player. It was a screaming problem last season, and the hopes of improving for next year after the first round don't exist in my book.

And we don't have to have Romo down for a season for it to matter. Even a game or two could be the difference between playoffs and no playoffs. I can't say the same thing at any other position other than DE right now. At least at DE we've got bench guys who can play the position and a young starter who's a quality pick back for 12 games in his second season.

Excellent post Idgit, I agree 100%.

We are not a good enough team to piss away every game that Romo misses, we have to have a QB capable of at least running the offense if Romo get hurt, even a game or two. Right now we do not have that, right now we would lose every game without Romo.

Garrett better be standing on the table in the war room demanding a QB at pick 4, because if we go into the season with Kellen Moore and some developmental guy like freaking Connor Cook, then Garrett will deserve to get fired when we are picking in the top 10 again next year if Romo goes down.

The inside pressure should be light years better than last year with a healthy T Crawford & Thornton as starters. It's the outside that is pretty green with Lawrence headlining as a pretty good player if healthy.

Yea, the DE spot with Gregory suspended and Hardy being shown the door is really looking like a major problem area.

That is why I am scared that the team is going to panic and draft Bosa at 4 instead of a QB like they need to.

The problem is two of the three you would have to trade up for and we aren't trading up for a safety for sure. I also don't think we are taking a RB at 4. So do you trade up for Wentz or trade down or take Bosa

So our ends are now Lawrence, Mayowa, (Gregory), J. Crawford and Russell.

I can smell the fear. (Unfortunately, it's ours.)

I wish some of you could be lined head up with a good sized offensive tackle and then told, to just survive it...smell fear?

Can the need for developing a QB also be accomplished solidly, at round 3? That and with some defensive players added?

How would you feel about Spence and Nkemdiche, in the 1st and 2nd, if they both prove out?

We need a franchise level QB, not scrub developmental 3rd round QBs.

In the AFC and NFC Conference Championship Games, 3 out of the 4 QBs were selected #1 overall and the only exception was Brady.

The odds of finding a franchise level QB outside the first round are not good..........Jerry said finding Romo was a miracle, well miracles typically don't happen twice for the same team. If we want a franchise level QB, then we are going to have to burn a high pick. If we want another Steven McGee, burn a 3rd/4th rounder.

If no QB, trade down get shaq Lawson. If we sign Jason Jones we will have a good rotation.

And if Romo gets hurt, we just lose every game like last year?

The only QBs behind Romo are Kellen "noodle arm" Moore and Showers from the practice squad...................that equals losses and a lot of losses.
