Browns trade Eagles #2 overall pick

Any team that now talks to San Diego at No. 3 is targeting Jalen Ramsey. Why? Clubs know Cowboys have no interest in Laremy Tunsil at No. 4.

Now on trade block: the #Chargers No. 3 pick, for teams looking to move up for FSU's Jalen Ramsey, who is the #Cowboys' top target at No. 4.

How much would it cost us to move up to 3... If Ramsey's our guy. I wouldn't think moving up 1 slot would be all that cost prohibitive, if we're hell bent on Ramsey.

Since the Eagles were the main threat to take Zeke, I wonder if we could trade down to 8 with the Browns or to 9 with the Bucs (before the Giants pick at 10, basically) and still get Zeke. If we can drop 4 or 5 spots and still pick our guy, while picking up a 2nd rounder in the process, that would be outstanding.

The only problem is that you can't make a trade like that until draft day. You have to see what's at #4 before giving it away. If we did move to #8, someone could still jump us to get the player we really want and could have had at #4. I know the Eagles will probably go QB, but wouldn't be surprised if they took Zeke. The QB's on their roster now are pretty much untradeable considering the cap hit.....

What are the chances this move was made to get Ramsey? Surely the Eagles knew SD and DAL were in line for his taking. It's surely for a pick of Wentz, but what a twist that would be.

Roseman: Doesn't know who the Rams will select first. We know who we're going to get at No. 2.

Is there a possibility they are going after Zeke instead of the QB.

I really would find it hard to believe they would lose those picks for Zeke. But that line by Roseman seems odd.

I would truly laugh my butt off if that were the case. The Philly fans would burn the city down....lol. They may do that anyway at the thought of getting a small school, unproven QB at #2, then not having another draft pick until the 4th round this year and 2nd round next year....especially with all the holes in their secondary and at WR....too funny. Remember the booing when they drafted Donovan McNabb, who actually turned out to be a franchise QB? and they didn't give up all that for him....I just find this really amusing.

I think it may mean they know they will get one of the two QBs. It was kind of a wisecrack to get people talking.

I didn't read this entire thread but I know philly didn't have a 2nd round pick this year so does this mean they will pick at #2 and then not again until the 5th round? They gave up a ton for whoever they pick in this draft. No one in this d Act is worth either of the two trades.

I just chastised someone for thinking the Eagles could take Elliott at 2.

But LOL, is it possible they just dumped all those picks for a TB or even an OT?

They had two third rounders this year. They kept one.

One of the more interesting things in all of this that I supposed the Browns really believe in RG3??? That blows my mind. Maybe they'll take Lynch.

Or they looked closely enough at Wentz and don't believe in him.

Well they can have Wentz for what they gave up.

If Dallas really really wanted Wentz, they could have made a deal. They obviously felt he wasn't worth the risk for the cost. He's no McNabb and that's a good thing.....

You don't give up what they have up for any other position in football but Quarterback..

If they moved up for Tunsil or Zeke then they are just stupid.
