"He's really a good athlete," Marinelli said. "He was a tailback in JC too, so you know me and movement. He's a big man. He's light on his feet. He's just working. He's got to get in shape better. He's a big, athletic man, and he could play the nose position in a heartbeat. Being an athlete, and just from what I've seen movement-wise, I really like him. I'm excited to have him here."

Wait a minute. This guy RB size within the last 2-3 years?

I posted an article on the previous page. He got up to 260 first in JUCO and then as a freshman gained another 30 and at 290 they moved him to DL

Is Coe the "hidden defensive lineman" that all the Dallas media types/ insiders kept referring to before the Draft?

Interesting.

yea, glad to see us both after the same type of "flyer" players. i do find it ballz-on funny that people who complain "all the time" will say we don't have the luxury of doing what the pats do - but yea, that was in conjunction to spending a 2nd round pick on a player who's likely to sit out a year. i do think over the last few years we're seeing stephen kick in more and i'll say it started with the "say no to manziel" crowd.

in all i think it was a solid draft and some good players picked up in the aftermarket. we'll see when camp comes up who's here to play and who's gonna "monkey" around on this team. :)

Yep..

I mentioned this in another thread but go watch the training camp live video from day 2..

All they are doing is hitting the bags but when Rodney Coe hits the bag it's just different.
It looked like the bag started cringing before he hit it lol.

Yes, it looks that way. About the only way it got out was because his sit on Jerry's lap picture ended up on Twitter.

I posted a while back that it was a guy from Akron. I doubted myself for s while and thought it was another guy, but I was right the first time.

Coe was out of shape on that training camp live. They did bag drills 4 times and he was bent over and unable to catch wind. This isn't baseball or bowling.

Should fit right in then with our uncondtioned defense of last year.:D

Davon Coleman, Ben Bass, Dalroy Stewart... .

The difference in the guys who make it and those that don't many times comes down to them. If they have the heart and desire to be a player, put in the work and continue to develope their game then they can make it. The odds are long for this kid but a huge part of it will be him and what he does with this opportunity

On those who question his motor:
"That's kind of been my whole ordeal throughout. A lot of my coaches gave me stuff for my motor, so now all I can really do is come in here and prove myself and let them know I have a motor. They know what I'm capable of. It's just me going hard every play. All I can do is just come out here and show them I do have a motor and I have a motor every play and just prove myself really."

Hopefully this changes.
