Well that is just depressing. lol

This is yet another reason why the front office failed on the defensive side of the ball. They built a Romo-centric offense knowing that if he got hurt they were in some trouble.

They should have made a more concerted effort to bring in more defensive help this offseason.

7-9 and 8-8 is possible and that would be a great success with this Defense.

It wouldn't shock me if Romo ends up on the PUP, then IR later in the season. They go with Dak all season to see what they have and get him the exp. In the offseason Romo is faced with a retire or be cut scenario. Romo retires, since no other teams are going to pony up much money for him at this age.

By going with Dak all season they can determine if he's the future or if they should consider taking a QB with an early pick in the 2017 draft.

LOL at all the new members logging in to give their predictions.

I'm one of the immigrants from the DC.com board. Not sure about the other "new members" you speak of.

I base the 2-14 on Romo being gone, a rookie RB and QB, and Garrett still running things with Booger peering over his shoulder giving instructions.

Thanks for taking in us in. I feel like a refugee....

Some might be haters. Others might be fans of other teams and that allows them to be more objective than some. I'm a Giants fan. I don't do too well predicting their record, unless I go with a win total where I think "That sucks!"

I nailed the Cowboys record last year. Don't know about how well I did with the head to head match-ups though.

Did you make the prediction before or after Romo went down for the year? I was guessing 8-8 last year, but that was before Mr. brittle bones went out again.

They failed because they can't afford anyone with the high price players on offense. If Dak is the real deal it will open up the checkbook to sign stud FA's from time to time. Right now we have all of our money in Romo, Dez, Witt, Smith, and TFred. That's why Seattle has managed to keep there D together because they had Wilson on a rookie salary for years.

If Dak plays like I think he will I say we get to 10 - 6

I am usually doom and gloom, but if the OL can allow Zeke and Morris to control the games and protect Dak, I think we will be OK and can compete come December.
