News: PFT: Report: Cowboys getting calls about Darren McFadden

McFadden would have led the league in rushing last year if he played 16 games. I've never seen a bunch of people that wanted to get rid of a valuable offensive weapon for peanuts.
There is a roll for McFadden on this team regardless if Zeke and Morris are here.

except he didn't and couldn't do it.......he also would have led the league in TDs if he scored 9 more....instead he finished 40th

Or keep someone not proven to be unreliable? And not risk losing him to waivers.
you mean the guy with the broken elbow and checkered history...hold him to the same standard you are judging Dunbar

That doesn't negate my point. McFadden would have led the league in rushing in 16 games. That's not even debatable just going by the stats he put up in the games he played in. As far as his TD total goes they passed the ball in the red zone more than they rushed.

Just slow-play the crap out of this until the value is driven up.

Posture.

He would have broken in half in 16 games. He has a worse injury history than Romo.

I agree with Hardline. Keep him especially since we are gonna have to pound the ball and control the clock with a backup QB. Remember our defense?

Murray had an injury that didn't affect his ability. McFadden would have played with a broken hand also.

Until last year, McFadden was one injury after another and his ypg was goind down drastically. He got beaten out by undrafted rookies.

That's why only Dallas was interested. Desperation called.

i appreciate your stance on McFadden but I'm afraid he is gone, best possible scenario is they leave him on the NFI or pup for the first 6 weeks as insurance.

Ok someone educate me here. What exactly is a "conditional pick" ?

I think McFadden is pretty close to being back. So he could be a trade candidate. I would be fine either way they go...keep him, trade him for DE, LB or S or trade him for a draft pick....at least a 5th rounder.

I do. That's why I'd keep Jackson before either if the 'damaged goods' running backs. If you want to keep either Dunbar or McFadden? Fine. But their unreliability forces you to then keep four backs.
