I would take a pick in a heartbeat..... we don't need any 29 year backup RBs

Just like Leary, the team has to clear an injured player to trade him and they have to want to trade him.
It seems the Cowboys don't want to trade either unless someone backs up the draft pick truck.

He is getting zero carries here behind Morris and Zeke whether we keep him or not, heck he might not be active.
And he doesn't fit the blocking scheme. I assume if we traded him we would keep Jackson but I don't see getting much for him. He is good in a man blocking scheme but I would be shocked if we got a 5th for him but I would take it in a heartbeat

he isn't injured until he is injured and he fits the passing O better than anyone

He isn't injured because he's not playing. Those two things go hand in hand. He's a fragile niche back whose body can't stand up to the rigors of the NFL. After that, I don't care what he does or doesn't do.

Ezekiel Elliott made his preseason debut for the Cowboys last week and the results were in line with what the team hoped to see when they drafted Elliott fourth overall in April. The Cowboys had used Alfred Morris as their lead back in the first two preseason games and he also looked good running behind…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2408321&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1
