Unless all they can get is a conditional 7th and their plan is to keep him on NFI as insurance, then I don't agree with this. It would pretty dumb to keep him over any of their other RBs.

Can't trade an injuried player.

Surely they aren't cutting Jackson and trading Mcfadden. It's one or the other. We are keeping Jackson and trading Mcfadden (once healthy) or cutting Jackson and keeping Mcfadden

if its the seahawks we could use some folks on their 2nd string defensive line or secondary.
The Seahawks are deeper than us at RB....they have Alex Collins as a 6th stringer with CJ Prosise and CMike ahead of him and Thomas Rawls as the starter

B
Just now on Twitter:

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet

The #Cowboys have received calls from teams seeking to trade for RB Darren McFadden, source said. DAL really wants to keep him, though.
Only team trading for McFadden is East Mississippi CC

deeper than us? at RB? really? Cowboys arent deep much anywhere but at RB this is our deepest class since I could remember.

they would also have Dunbar and RSmith
My point exactly.....reliable running backs. Dunbar couldn't make it all game running the ball. He is a specialist with injury history. RSmith might not even make the roster, KSmith is far ahead
