Every CB in the league will tug a jersey from an angle where they think the refs can't see it. That first holding call was garbage. The non-call that should have been called was him getting away with it b/c the receiver shielded the ref's view. That's pretty much SOP in the league.

I said he played well, best on team. But I'm not goin to exaggerate by saying he was great. Great implies more than just good coverage and tackling. Great is a takeaway or 3, maybe a pick six. I have a much different definition and standard for greatness.

You're right, they are a tool you can use to help inform what you're seeing on the field. Mo's been a horrible, not average, but horrible CB in his first four years and PFF's grading supports that.

I don't think he's played nearly as well as some would like to believe (at least thus far) and I'm willing to bet PFF's numbers will reflect that too.

Completely ignore the way pff rates something when it destroys your points.

He played about as well as you can expect with our pass rushers giving Kirk 30 minutes a play to throw the ball.

You are totally wrong. That hold call was bs and you know it. I seen with my eyes, I don't need someone telling me. Claiborne had multiple break ups in the endzone.

Keep hating though

Im gonna be honest with you. Quite frankly I think you're clueless as a football fan and as such, I don't really think enough of your opinion to want to discuss it with you.

I'm open to talking with others about the subject though.

I broke it down last year, and there was always one guy whining about Mo's play. Claiborne has been playing great football since 2015. Shutdown top WRs in the first 5 games last year, only player he struggled against was Mike Evans so there may be concern with Mo going up against those 6'4-6'5 WRs. I don't think he's anywhere near "elite", but he is becoming a damn good corner and those are valuable in this league.

As for the Jackson play, get a worthy safety to help our corners. I mean, holy crap. There's not many corners who can keep up with him in a straight line.

And yet, NFL analysts every single week continue to say Claiborne is playing well.

But you know all. You were wrong, I called people out on this last year when watching Mo play along with give stats and pictures in games. Just don't even try it.

Yeah, I quoted you, but you were just expanding on Cal Poly's point. Still, yeah, he played well. He wasn't great, but he did play a good game. The interference call and the tug in the end zone notwithstanding.

Probably the best game of his career; didn't hurt that Cousins had one of the worst games since he's become a starter.

It really was. The announcers today were calling his name all the time. About how great a job he was doing.

I feel good for him. What is this? His year #5? And he's had so many problems. Its been horrible.

And finally, here he is. Really making a difference. In such a big game for the Cowboys.

Its great. At least I think it is.
