Bengals about to hibernate for 10 days before Dallas

Since when has a break been really really beneficial? Most teams coming off the bye week play sluggish on their return.

You might be confusing how Dallas plays for how most teams play.

The Bengals have a lay-up tonight against Miami at home, then a nice cozy rest until next weekend when they come to Dallas.

Meanwhile, Dallas travel to the west coast for a late afternoon CST game.

At least Dallas gets the Bengals at home. But that rest will make them even tougher to beat next weekend.
not to whine, but it seems to happen that way often.

Especially the road night games right before the short Thanksgiving week games.

Something's not right with Cincy so far this year though.

Is this troll bait and does it end in Bengal fan extermination?

Yeah, we're getting our teeth kicked in next week. Probably the week after too. Then after the bye it's judgment day. We must atone for our sins.

Celebrate 3-1 but we'd really be 3-4.
Love ya Risen, but you won't man up or acknowledge it if you are wrong. You tend to only bring up the instances when you are right.

Atone for that.

Let's hope so. Go Cats. We don't want to face them after a loss with 10 days off and their season on the line .

The worst part of our schedule is our last game against the EaGirls.
EaGirls play Thursday at home then play us 10 days later at home.

We play Monday night then travel to Philly for the afternoon game.
How the heck did they come up with that schedule?

Sometimes the chips just don't seem to fall right when it comes to scheduling.

I remember a stretch, I think in 2014, where we played ON THE ROAD on Sunday NIGHT, prime time, then at home on Thursday afternoon (Thanksgiving), and then the following Thursday too. Then we finally got the long break. Seemed like a raw deal.

I'm sure most teams deal with these screw jobs at some point during the season though.

10 days or not they're full of rough riders and will probably punk us if we dont hit em in the mouth first

What has gotten into you or have you always been this way?

I hear you but typically when a team plays on a short week and the opponent had longer lay off, the team that plays on the short week gets the home game.

As I posted before this, let's hope we are leading the division by 2 or more games when we play them.

Didn't we get a 10 day break before the rematch with the Eagles in 2014? Lost to them on turkey day. Then played the Bears a week later on Thursday. Then the Eagles on a Sunday night on 10 days rest after Philly traveled across the country to play and lose to Seattle.

Let's not act like we never benefited from this treatment.

AJ is a beast, but it looks like all they have on O. They seem to get a lot of pressure on the QB by rushing 4, O line will need to have a good game.
