I don't know if Romo survives that game

Man, I want him back. Glad it wasn't last night though.

I see defenses from here in out trying to take Romo out.

It's going to take a small miracle for him to survive when he comes back.

Romo SuperBowl 51 MVP

I know what you mean.
But...I don't know they blitz as much and for as long if Romo was in the game.
He would have changed the plays at the line and backed them off that blitz.

He would.

Tony only really gets injured 1 of 2 ways

1) Someone blows their assignment
2) He gets caught from behind

Thought about this this morning. I don't think he does. Couple of times he would've been hit when Dak was able to escape.

Said it from day 1....Romo will get blitzed into retirement. Maybe it's the routes we run...or maybe he holds on the ball to long...but teams will test to see if he can move and/or get rid of the ball....for the record...I would do the same thing.

NO idea. He may have had his career end in that game. Or he may have punished them for blitzing so bad that they stop a lot earlier. Who can say.

Dez does not get all of that single coverage if Romo is in there. Then again, there would be less in the box to stop the run.

Philly was the team that broke his collarbone last year.
Then again, Dallas has beaten NFC East teams 12 of the last 13 games that Romo has started.

I'm just happy we won.
Dak was impressive down the stretch.

In a real personal way.

I need all the stars to align perfectly and this dude rides off into the sunset with sb win.

Living in ny it's rough watching Eli get two.

I only need one for validation for him and for me.

There were passes in this game that Dak missed. I have no doubt that Romo hits those passes (like a TD pass to Dez that was just out of his reach).

The question is, does Romo have the mobility to do the OTHER things like run for a TD, or run for a 1st down, or roll out enough to give himself room to make a pass downfield?

the mobility & durability are the 2 things that make me hesitate to say "Go with Romo." Because Romo is still the better passer... it's the "other" things...

Romo would survive the game and Dallas wouldn't have needed OT to win if he had played. Dak has a preternatural ability to manage games for a rookie, but he is still a rookie. Romo would have beaten the Philly blitzes a lot earlier in the game and changed Philly's strategy.

Some of y'all acting like Romo is soft as a marshmallow are going to be in for a big surprise.

Romo would have been alright in that game last night. In fact he would have carved up that defense blitzing so much and that game would have never gone to OT.

CBZ 2014: Romo is taking us to the Super Bowl!!

CBZ 2015: Romo is out, we don't have a chance !!!

CBZ 2016: Romo was never any good anyway.....

I agree. I really want him back, and I really want to see him take some hits. Let's find out if he's still him, and if his body can't weather the storm.

Hate to say this but Romo would have survived the game if he was the Eagles QB. I think the Cowboys' routes take too long to develop that you need to buy time.

Wow. That's crazy. Washington 2014 the only loss?
