Cowboys owe the Ravens a little payback

they were the Cleveland Browns before Art Modell moved them to Baltimore like a thief in the night, leaving Cleveland high and dry.
Yeah I know that part. But I thought they pretty much started anew and gave up all of the history of the Browns after they moved.
they gave up the Browns history and so forth, but they still kept all the players and management......

Before he retired, Ray Lewis was the last player from the original Cleveland Browns franchise, not this new one that turds the NFL nowadays.

Lewis was a Brown?

wait, I was incorrect, he was the first pick for the team once they moved to Baltimore.....for some reason I always think he played his rookie season with the Browns.

I think the last of the original Browns to retire was Matt Stover.

technically we have beaten them many times, just not since they moved to Baltimore
As somebody mentioned, they were an expansion team. Modell gave up their heritage as part of the deal with the NFL.

A team like the Houston Oilers kept their legacy when they became the Titans.

0-4 all-time vs Ravens.

They are the only team Dallas has not defeated.
The last time the Cowboys and the Ravens played iirc it was 2012 and the Cowboys ate up that Ravens D for over 200yds rushing only to lose that game because of bad clock management by Garrett this time the Ravens face a similar threat in Zeke Elliott and Garrett is a much different HC than he was then it will be a fun game that is for sure.

I was at that game. Cold miserable walk back to the car.

Me too, that was my first, and only, Cowboy's game I saw at Texas Stadium. It was one of the most disappointing memories as a sports fan ever.

Would love nothing more than a little payback!
