They have a good defense and we have a great offense. We are better on offense than they are on defense, especially on the ground.
We have an average defense, although it is good when it comes to points allowed. They have a terrible offense. We are better on defense than they are on offense. I have no idea how anyone could say that Minnesota has a much better chance of winning this game. The only thing they have in their favor is home field advantage. I'm in no way saying this win is in the bag. I just don't see how anyone could predict a Minnesota win based on the strengths and weaknesses of each team.

While it's certainly possible that Minnesota could win at home...the current number one defense (Ravens) simply had no answer for the Cowboy's offense after 12:23 of the second quarter...resulting in five consecutive scoring drives and never punting again the entire game. That Ravens run defense is better than the 2000 edition...only their pass defense is weaker. Dallas already disposed of them and the Eagles at number three. Minnesota currently sits sixth on total defense. Crowd noise will definitely be a factor.

The thing that concerns me is the super-loud stadium. It will be hard to change plays at the line and the OL will be at a disadvantage. If Dallas handles the noise well then I think they can run on Minny.

Interestingly enough, the betting line has added another point to Dallas point spread,,, -3.5,,, lots of money being bet on the Vikings I guess.(?) I confess to not knowing how the betting lines work.

It's not.

In 2000, the Ravens allowed 2.7 yards per rush and 970 rushing yards on the season, or 61 per game.
This year, they allow 3.4 yards per rush and have allowed 824 yards so far, or 75 per game. (Take the Cowboys game out and it's still 3.3 ypa and 71 yards per game)
