it seems like we have the slowest starting and back up DE's in the nfl.

Sad gregory is so stupid and stuck on weed. We could really use him right now.

DL group may be the worst assembled group in cowboys history.

And they are NOT getting coached up in any way shape or form.

Lawrence is decent, but isnt a quick twitch player that gets off the line fast. There is no doubt we need a true rde to take this defensive to another level. Outside of resigning some of our own, this is priority number 1...

Lol lawrence fell on his *** when he tried to reverse upfield

You saw what a great collection of DEs looks like and what a mediocre collection of DEs looks like.

Hunter, Griffin, Robison.............. speed and athleticism off the edge. If we had those guys, this defense would be great.

We just apparently completely suck at finding and developing ends. I feel like it's been this way since the mid to late 90s.

I agree with all of the posts above. In training camp this wasn't the sentiment. Peeps here were loving the cowboys Dline. Not everybody, but there were some. People were sold on the "waves" of fresh young dlinemen. Others bought into the theory that our powerful DTs would make even avg DEs look good. Fast twitch russell, super gem mayowa, unstoppable tapper, Irving is gonna explode ect.

If we do not serious spend some cash and draft DEs in the first and second, we are gonna have the same trash next year.

I'd like to see some serious tape and analysis on our De's. After watching Denver and KC send their 2 wolves after the opposing QB and their use of their hands to shed the Olineman and turn the corner..........I have to say either our DE are not coached that way, or they are not capable of it.

It's the latter

They got some pressure though but yeah they do suck lol
They did get some pressure and that was definitely part of the win. I expect too much however this defense is very vanilla. They still kick *** in the red zone where it matters.

The latter.

That's obvious after watching this game. You can see a clear difference in the talent, athleticism, skill set of our DEs versus what the Vikings throw out there with Griffin, Hunter, Robison.

Demarcus Lawrence has been "Limited" in every single practice this season. He really needs an offseason to recover because he's looking like a depth player right now, and for his draft status that's a bust.

Not many people realize that next year is his last year on his rookie contract and then we have to make a decision. I'd have no problem drafting DE 1 and 2 in the draft, given our need and how much they cost in FA,
