This guy sees the big picture.

"Count at least one vote for Dak Prescott as this year's NFL League MVP.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport says he's casted his ballot for the Dallas Cowboys' rookie that takes snaps behind center instead of the one that carries handoffs. While many have running back Ezekiel Elliott as the team's front runner for the honor, Rapoport sees it all very differently."

Peter King had an article up where they did a mock MVP vote with Ian in it as well and Matt Ryan ran away with it. Prescott wasn't even top 6. It was Ryan, Brady a distant second and everyone else not even close.

The whole Ryan thing kills me. They were 8-8 last year, right? They were supposed to improve with more weapons. Plus it didn't hurt that Carolina rolled out the red carpet for them to take over the division this year.

So he gets props for not stinking it up in a QB friendly offense. The same offense that made RG3 look like he could play. Whatever man...

A unbiased look will show that he had a remarkable season and led his team to one of the highest scoring offenses in league history. Whether he's the run away favorite he's being portrayed as is worthy of conversation, but he had a hell of a season that shouldn't be diminished just because one of ours isn't winning it. If anything, Brady being in 2nd is what actually has me more irritated. Missing 4 games for a suspension, for what he was suspended for, should exclude him from consideration imo. Not to mention the team went 3-1 without him.

I'm more hoping for a load of regrets for not voting Dak MVP after the Cowboys win the Super Bowl. No one but themselves to blame for not being ahead of the greatest story in NFL history.

It still won't save Ians job if he commits a micro aggression

Was reading something on twitter about Rapoport is a Cowboys fan. Don't quote me on it, because I can't find the tweet. But yeah..

Which is why neither Dak or Elliot will win...split votes on the Dallas side leaving someone like Rodgers to clean up

Dak has 0% chance to win the MVP award this year, but it is still pretty awesome that a 4th round rookie is even in the conversation.

Dak would be in my top 3 for sure...and maybe my #1. Now we just need the NFL to come to its senses and give me a vote. :)

Yes but the dude has probably played his best football and I doubt they'd be as good with any other QB.

I think if you look at Daks situation and he should be Rookie of the year with Zeke as Offensive Rookie of the year. But I think what hurts Dak is that the boys could be in the same position with Romo if Dak was injured or somethin and that kinda goes against the whole MVP thing if that makes sense. I'm not saying I agree with that thought process, but it's a legit argument. That's not a knock on Dak. But it has to play a part.
