Do we know what crew we are getting? How will you all feel if its Gene Steratore and we are playing the Packers? I for one will not be looking forward to it.

its a waste of time knowing who the officials are. They all do exactly what the league tells them. If a team wasnt meant to win per league orders, thats what will happen

If the refs were rigging games then the Cowboys would have multiple super bowls in the past 20 years. You didn't say it, but this idea that the league is out to get the Cowboys is ridiculous. The league loves Dallas

I wonder what really goes on in those earpieces the refs wear.

I hope for Brad Allen. His crew is consistent.

I believe there isn't traditional "crews" for the playoffs. Some of these refs have never worked with each other before which is odd. It's basically the best rated referees for every game.

I don't think it's rigged but people also love to see the Cowboys lose. That is part of the attraction. The league also strives for parity(though there isn't much IMO), the salary cap was created partially because of the success of the 90s Cowboys.

I don't worry about the officiating because there's no bias against the Cowboys contrary to what many on this board will lead you to believe. We have to watch our technique because bad technique can draw holding calls and other penalties.

If we're going for ratings the league would want Dallas vs New England or Pittsburgh Super Bowl

So explain the technique the Back Judge in the last playoff game we had was displaying by watching Clay Matthews spear Romo in the back of the legs.....

I would have to see the play again but I'm talking about holding calls and other penalties that have put us behind the chains causing Dak to struggle in some of those situations. Poor technique can draw some of those calls. Officials miss calls, they did yesterday during one of the games on a facemark and admitted they missed it. Both teams have to deal with officiating. We got a great break having the PI call in the Detroit playoff game in 2014 picked up or we likely would have lost that game. Bringing up the officiating prior to a game is just preparing for excuses if we lose.

I'd argue that the league as a whole is much more profitable when the Cowboys are doing well.

There's no way the league is overly biased against the Cowboys. That said, refs are human and I'd wager some of them hate us and it would eventually taint their calls. Same as every team.

The last thing officiating crews want to do is screw up a call especially in a playoff game that could impact the outcome of a game. One bad call by an official affects the entire crew, they all suffer consequences by the league because they're graded. It's silly worrying about what crew is going to officiate the game. If you go out and do your job by playing well, officiating won't have an impact.
