Zeke only got 23 touches

Romo 2014 game vs GB was better, 143 rating, 79 percent complete, 0 picks, 2 tds. It was an elite performance that was even better than those stats because Blandino. Romo didn't need 300 yards in that game because he wasnt playing from behind until the end. He was practically flawless in that game. Dak balled in the 4th but was pedestrian and off target often before that.

Truthfully I don't remember the game very well, it has been awhile and it's not a game I will ever rematch. Even so, it wasn't an amazing offensive performance with only 21 points against a pretty middle of the pack defense.

I can't comment on specifics, I know Murray's fumble cost us some points.

Professional football is the ultimate "hindsight is 20/20" game.

Yesterday afternoon it truly was a game of inches. And we were a few inches away from getting the W.

I know it sucks but I'll choose not to nitpick.

We will be back in 9 months, and our superstar rookies won't be rookies anymore, and our defense will be better because I TRUST that this organization will upgrade the right positions with the right players.
The future belongs to the Cowboys and certainly not Green Bay or Rodgers.

Well, seeing how the excuse always is that Romo never has a defense and that's why he can't advance us to the next level, I don't see a 36-year-old injury-prone Romo doing any better in this game.
He didn't outduel Rodgers in 2014. I doubt he would have done so yesterday.
Romo never won anything, ever when it counted. He was a liability in big games. Thats the simple truth. Who can forget his snatching defeat from the jaws of certain victory with his first major bungle in that Seattle game years ago.

You're right. Dallas tried one screen and the Packers ate it up; and from that point it was never called again. I also would have liked to have seen some more gadget plays to Lucky Whitehead or Lance Dunbar. They were invisible yesterday, too.
I don't ever want to see lucky whitehead on this roster again. Adds zero value. Can't play wr at ALL.

Lucky Whitehead had a 26 yard run and 35 yard catch in October against the Packers and both set up touchdowns. The jet sweep to Lucky also forces the defenses to hesitate slightly and helped break some big runs by Zeke this year.

You're right, but the Packers were probably thinking run Zeke on 3rd and 2 as well. Can't be too predictable; though I also question the playcalling early in the game.
I thought we had the best offensive line in the game. So we should be able to convert a 3rd and 2.

That jet sweep got figured out weeks ago.
3 receptions in 16 games doesn't cut it for a guy seeing so much action imo.

Linehan bought a ticket out of Dallas with that wretched playcalling. GB feared Zeke more than anything yet he wasnt even in the backfield on key plays.
I didn't like a lot of what I saw, but I loved seeing Zeke with a FB in the I-formation. He destroyed on that run. That should be the basis of an entire package that gets installed in the offseason. Loved seeing some old fashioned smash.

And yet, there's a play in the first half where we're threatening to score and Romo bobbles the snap and throes and in completion. We settle for 3 instead of 7.
These type things ALWAYS happen to the Cowboys so forgive me if I don't think starting Romo would have changed anything. Some way, some how in some strange way, I think we would have loss this game even with Romo.

If 302/3td isn't decimation I don't know what is. Romo would've thrown 2-3 of them to GB.

Tony Romo has thrown 2 interceptions in 6 playoff games (a 1.1% playoff interception rate). I am glad we started Dak, felt he played great overall, and do not believe Romo could have done better yesterday, but come on people Romo was not as turnover prone as some want him to be.

Happy as hell though that Dak is the future.

Didn't even need to be a screen. Zeke is deadly in the flat. So is Mcfadden. Where were the flare routes? Dunbar wheel route? We saved McFadden and Dunbar all season for this reason, yet we didn't even use them in the passing game in the most important game of the season.
If we aren't going to use the speed guys we should just get a bruiser to spell Zeke on some 1st and occasionally 2nd downs so he can be in on 3rd downs more. He's the match-up nightmare you need to make those more often.

I think that people that use allusions to derisive conspiracy terms like 9-11 Truthers to ridicule those they disagree with are ridiculous.

They are predicting what would have happened had something else been done. They are not saying something else indeed happened.

They aren't predicting. They are stating as fact.

The "truthers" thing was a joke btw, get a sense of humor.

It's looking better but it's a year-to-year proposition. I think this thing was built for last year and this year. Lots of key parts to fill. Lots of positions are thin.

Feigning certainty of outcomes is common. It still boils down to the same thing. They still are not creating a conspiracy to explain it.

Because I don't think your 'jokes' are funny does not mean that I lack a sense of humor. What I get from this is that you lack the empathy to understand how someone might be offended by such a comparison being pinned on them.

Your jokes are at the expense of people that are present. They are not necessarily your friends and you are being derisive. Perhaps you should use some introspection on your sense of humor.

Hey you 2 angry people, we all are. Calm it down, and I would only say it to yall.

Ask me if I care what you think of my jokes.

My point was that saying Romo would have played better than Dak is an opinion, and frankly a pointless one. If that's derisive, then it's derisive.
