You give him way to much credit. That fool doesn't care. He's got his billions

If only the guy who invests his time and money in the team cared as much as fans on a message board. :muttley:

But they had guts to replace the franchise winnest head coach in Mike Smith 2-years ago and completely turned their roster over with just six holdovers from 2-years ago.

Falcons also fired an incompetent coach and got a real one

The way I see it, is that now that Garrett's won Coach of the Year, Jerry's even more dug in with his support.

Cowboy fans can finally accept JG's the coach for a while to come or go bang their heads against the wall, because it'll produce the same results.

Packers were never as good as their run indicated. They played a lot of lousy offenses and benefited by Rogers amazing play, and help from the Refs. There D is atrocious.

This blowout is not making me feel better. We should've beat the Packers.

Yes, Rodgers played like a MVP last week - still, Dak had better stats - but we made crucial mistakes, we did not play our best against a hell of a QB, but a banged up team overall. I don't see Atlanta getting cute today. Call hindsight or whatever...

Sometimes in games things just break wrong for a team. What happened to us to kill drives early last weekend and get behind against GB is happening to that very team today. We can gnash our teeth and blame coaches or whatever, but sometimes the game just gets away from you against a good team.

At least we fought back. I didn't see Dak p***ig and moaning like Rodgers is right now when we were down 18.

Yah... we sleepwalked for a quarter and a half. Really hard to overcome an 18 point deficit and the refs to win.

Tough loss, GB made some great plays, the refs helped them out with a few calls and non-calls, but ultimately we weren't sharp enough for 60 mins to win that game.

I have moved on now and am ready to get rolling next year.

you see guys, it doesn't take an all-world defense to make it to the super bowl. i know garrett wants you to think that so he has more excuses but WE WERE THE SUPERIOR TEAM last week. let's stop all this revisionist history about how bad this defense is and how it needs a total facelift. you get up on this team early with your offense at home, get the home crowd involved, then wear them down in the 2nd half. offensive coaches decided to get cute in the 1st half which led to the downfall. sad it happened especially with 2 weeks to prepare. but that's what happens when you have a bozo coach who always comes up short in the playoffs.
Ima keep it 100 bro, before the game I said we shouldn't jump off sides or have 12 men on the field and we did both in the first quarter. Kinda told me what I already knew back in 2012 about Garrett.

Anyone else finding a small bit of solace in this mauling?
Not really for the purpose of GB losing.

I felt GB was going to get destroyed after we nearly got them last week with 18 unanswered.

If anything this makes the necessity of getting a defense even more of a point. There is no way this team as constructed is built to compete against this, and some had been saying this prior to the playoffs. We're going to need to be more than a ball control offense to win the NFCG's of the future.

Gigantic difference....Rodgers is on the road and even if they do score 18 like we did....not early enough.
Plus Rodgers doesnt get to play his secondary:laugh:

Down goes Green Bay:flagwave:
Yep, big difference. We actually scored.

We had a career franchise quarterback with among the best numbers in franchise history.

And how many times did we even sniff success? We had a few good seasons and went out quickly in the playoffs. We shouldn't even have beat the Lions in Romo's only career playoff win.

Ref stuff aside, this is either going to be an historic second half or a sleeper. Rodgers is going to need some serious help a la help he hasn't had from the D all season.
