I was about 245 in this pic, I have one where I was 340 standing in the same pose with the same coach about two years earlier. That, was Yuge!!!

I always refer to people of your size as bone crushers. If you full mounted a dude in a bar fight you would crush his skull (hence the name) :)

Had a bad run-in one time with a fella not quite your size, but big as ****. In Vegas. Thankfully my then wife pulled me away before I would've been killed (I'm only 5'10) lol

I was never much of a fighter, if i could avoid it. My dad made sure that i was not a bully. He always told me that little guys would not fight me fair, because of my size. I didn't realize how big i was until insaw myself in a mirror at a nightclub in Monterrey Mexico back in 1988. I was amongst a bunch of IBMs and freaked out when i saw how i stuck out. Lol

These beers are strong, fellas. Feeling incredibly warm with some chicken in the oven.

Just got a killer deal with DirecTV so I'm flying high. It's the little things :)

That's awesome, Coach. You're a hell of a guy and it would, in deed, be unfortunate if you used your size aggressively. I'm sure you'd stick up for you and yours, but that's great that that's as far as it goes. I'm not violent at all either. I've had my fair share of fights and violence, I'm done with all that.

What's an IBM??

Itty Bitty Mexicans. Lol
I can say that cause most of them were my cousins.

That dwarf was a n all district defensive tackle about 20 years ago. Lol
Yeah he looks small next to you. That's what I was telling you back in the 70's I went to wrestling with my cousin who was 6'7'' and 300 pounds when he was 16 years old, and we got pretty close to Andree the Giant and my cousin looked like a little kid. Andree was 7'4'' and weighed 550 pounds.

Ok, bear with me, Coach --

Yesterday I called DTV, I informed them that on 1 Feb (today) my 2 year contract ended and that I wanted to be connected to customer retention. Once I was transferred to customer retention, I asked them the best offer they had to keep me. They told me all they had was 6 months of free Cinemax. I told them I don't watch Cinemax (I only have HBO). I informed them that I have TWC/Spectrum for Internet and that they have attractive offers for bundling internet and digital cable. I also told them that I would prefer to stay with DTV because of the customer service and great quality. I let them know that I have purchased PPV events and paid for Sunday Ticket (implying I was a customer that spent some extra money on their services).

Still, the rep didn't budge. I was very nice to her, tho.

After realizing I was getting no where, I told her that if I got off the phone and there was no deal that I would not be using their services anymore and that I would immediately call TWC and use their bundle offer. She said that's all she could do (the 6 months of free Cinemax). So, I cancelled my service. Ordered a box to be mailed to send back my digital receiver, the whole nine yards.

Like I promised her, I immediately called TWC and got an amazing deal for a year, locked in. This all took place around 11am.

So, around 4pm, a department within DTV called me. A part seperate from the main departments and the "real" customer retention. The ones who have the codes to pretty much do as they please to retain their subscribers.

She offered me my current package @ $85 for the year (I was paying ~$115), free Sunday Ticket, AND a $200 Visa Card. She also took off the remaining two Sunday Ticket payments I had scheduled, which I would have had to pay even if I switched services. I couldn't pass it up. And it's only a year contract.

I didn't have this planned, Coach. Like I said, I had already set up an appointment for TWC to come out and hook up my new box.

I was stoked.
