To me, Barry seems to genuinely like Zeke. I remember him saying to Chris Berman in an interview on Monday Night Countdown a couple months ago that Zeke deserved to win MVP. Here's what he said about Zeke today, and watch the hate from Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman:

I use to love watching Barry run. Unfortunately, some of his best runs were against us. Hopefully we'll be talking about Zeke this way for years to come.....

I'm not sure it's possible to "learn" Barry Sander's running style.

I've never seen anything like it.
You ain't kidding. He was something. The Cowboys Smith wasn't anything to sneeze at either. Great time for Running Backs. I still smile thinking about some of Eric Dickersons runs.

I'm not necessarily talking about the running style. I was talking moreso about how Barry took care of his body.

That's one of the more crazy things.

He's been retired now for, what... 20 years?

Even as athletes get bigger-stronger-faster, no one has really been able to do what he did. The closest thing I've seen style-wise is LeSean McCoy, but on a much lower level.

Thanks Barry,

It's funny how people try to detract from Elliott because of the OL.

He led the league in rushing by 300 yards, and he played 15 games. And it was his rookie year.
You can't use the "he only played 15 games" card when he led the league in carries.

Let Zeke be Zeke. He doesn't need to learn anything from Sanders. We need our back to consistently get positive yards, not lead the league in negative yardage.

WELL YA KNOW WHAT TORUK? I'M GONNA 'CAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD

I always thought the closest thing we ever saw to Barry Sanders was Warrick Dunn... the primary difference being that Dunn was slight of build (many thought too small to play in he NFL) and he lacked Barry's powerful legs.
