I don't think I will ever forget that kickoff return for a TD that Woody Danzler pulled off. I think I remember it so much b/c those teams were sooooo bad that any spark was memorable.
to go along with this, i will say alexander wright. he never amounted to much but he was damn fast and that kickoff td against the giants was a thing of beauty.

Four pages and no mention of Jackie Smith. Can't think of a player in franchise history who had a shorter Cowboys career than he did, whose name has come up so much through the decades because of one infamous play. His name is more associated with the Cowboys than the team he spent 15 years with earning HOF honors.

Good player, but maybe more memorable to me than to a lot of others - Mike Gaechter.

Players who would have been great - Billy Cannon Jr. and Mike Sherrard.

Player who was great until he lost his mind for a while - Duane Thomas.

Greatest disappointment - Danny Noonan.

Patrick Jeffers. Thought that guy was going to be a player. And Woody Dantzler, for the return.
